Officially, it was to sample the Dr Pepper shake.
Unofficially… I was there to see if order had been restored to the universe.
Last visit, I said “thank you.”
There was no “my pleasure.”
The spiritual balance wobbled.
This time? I watched carefully.
Ordered the shake. Solid. Creamy. Dr Pepper flavor doing its weird little root-beer-adjacent magic. Not bad at all.
Then I said it.
“Thank you.”
Without hesitation. Without fear. Without delay.
“My pleasure.”
And just like that, harmony returned. The cows grazed peacefully. The waffle fries regained their crisp destiny. The realm was stable once more.
Shake was good.
But the restoration of tradition? Even sweeter.

I for the most part try to only post positive experience reviews, but this experience was enough to warrant a negative review. The rudeness and contempt of the 2 counter staff and the preposterously small portions given were ridiculous. And when asking for more of an underserved ingredient, like cheese, the employee will sarcastically pick up a pinch of cheese and sprinkle it on your bowl. The cherry on the top was the bowl had a hole in it and leaked the overly runny beans all over the floor of the car. For a location where I’ve had a lot of positive experiences and interactions with great staff, this experience is likely to prevent me from ever coming back.
Edit- I had to include how impressed I was with the whole whopping 9 bits of chicken that came on my bowl.

Very upsetting to find pieces of meat in a veggie bowl. I’ve been vegetarian my entire life. Pretty sure I ate a piece. Took a picture of the a piece that was visible. The bowl went straight into the bin. How messy do your food containers have to be for this kind of cross contamination? Very callous.

Depending on what time you go it can be a little crowded or they might have of course doordashers ready to pick up people’s food because it’s well sought after meal time for a lot of people and we managed to get a $60 bill because we were piling it up ! We didn’t have to wait very long in line when we showed up which was roughly around maybe 11:30 a.m. Or so and pretty much when we walked in the line was moving, they’re pretty efficient with keeping the line going. So even if there is a few people or quite a few people in line, it shouldn’t take you more than several minutes to get through.
I would say the highlight of the visit itself was the fact that you could add and pile on as much as you wanted to make it what you want basically and the food was very delicious .
My overall impression of the experience I had was decent for the most part, the only thing I wish I could have changed was the fact that just a few of the workers didn’t look too pleased to be there but they could have had a long rush hour or maybe some prior experiences but I would have liked to see a few more smiles instead of feeling like I was looked at as another number through the line I suppose. Very dirty location. I ordered online only to get the Cinco deal. I arrived 15 mins before the scheduled pickup time. Staff asked my name, I apologized for being early, then proceeded to watch 4-5 staff members stand around doing nothing for 15 mins. I guess they can’t make an order before the scheduled pickup time.
The shrinkage with online orders is real! See photo of the empty sides of my bowl. I finished this in one sitting when I usually make 2 meals of a decent bowl. I miss the way Chipotle used to be.

This Chipotle is not very well prepared at all. My first order of three burrito bowls was 20 minutes late. Supposed to be ready by 6:45 got it at 7:05. Second order of two burritos was 30 minutes late. Supposed to be ready by 7:00 got it at 7:30
They forgot two of our tortillas and didn’t care to put in napkins or silverware. Some of the staff inside didn’t appear to be wearing masks, some were. There were only one or two people actually preparing the food to get it outside.
I waited outside, surrounded by 20ish people who weren’t wearing masks for over 40 minutes!!!! If I hadn’t ordered online and paid, I would have left immediately. Also, you can’t expect people to wait 40 minutes and not have your restrooms open.
The amount of food we got is pathetic, and such a waste of money. Customers are paying 7/8 dollars per bowl/burrito and you are only filling up the bowls half way up! I asked for extra cheese and lettuce on my bowl and they put less on it!

I love Chipotle, but after my recent experience with them at this location, I will defiantly have to rethink that relationship. I question the relationship overall and don’t just say well I just will never come back to this location, because when I tried to report my food safety concerns to their corporate office it became a frustrating 45 minutes of dealing with a computer automated texting program as their “customer service.” I’m not sure that I would call talking to a computer or possible people that are clueless or just don’t want to help as customer service. I attached a few screen shoots on that nightmare. So I decided I would just report them to the county for possible food safety violations, since they didn’t want me to try and give them the feedback directly.
This location as you can see from the pictures, was so grows as far as the food prep area and the dining area. In one picture the gloves you see next to the trash on top of a table was left there by an employee who was on brake… and no he didn’t come back to clean it up… he went back to work. So clearly no pride in their store and that showed in the service we received too. The employees where more interested in talking to each other, rather than providing customer service and having a clean store. Meat was falling in to the vegies and rice, so if you are vegan… look out!!! The non-soda dispensers where empty and tables had not been cleaned in who knows how long. So it doesn’t surprise me that one of us got sick possible from this place. I’d save yourself some stress and possible sickness and not go here.

Went in with three Coworkers, all got the same size burrito which seemed abnormally small..
About 5 minutes later, 3 other coworkers got an online pick up order and their burrito’s were twice the size with similar fixings.
Consistency seems to always be a problem with Chipotle.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Trash was everywhere. We watched the manager pile forks without gloves or washing his hands into a dirty and garbage filled area. The employees are very slow and very rude. The dirty dishes were all around the food. Do not go here.
