I tried the hot chocolate with whipped cream along with a blueberry muffin, and both were absolutely delicious. The whole experience had a different, cozy vibe to it — perfect for a quiet stop in the German Village area.

Definitely worth the cost when you’re in the neighborhood. A simple but truly satisfying treat!

Coffee is fresh. Being an avid drinker that brews whole beans every time at home, this is not fake fresh, it’s actually medium to good quality beans that were just roast maybe a few days ago. Very good. Not burned, smooth.

Dare I say this was not all that amazing or great!? ‍♀️ I think it’s just a little overhyped for sure! I got a peppermint mocha and was pretty disappointed with the flavor, no peppermint taste so I had to ask for extra. The atmosphere was ehhh…not super cozy and inviting. Very crowded in the area you pick up coffee. Staff was friendly and nice though. Been to better coffee shops in Columbus!

I had the BEST decaf Americano I’ve ever had in my life at Strauf’s coffee house. And I’ve had a lot of Americanos. They Swiss Water Process it and let it do its magic for 24 hours. We also got a regular Cortado. It was also outstanding. And we think it had a Buckeye leaf in it in espresso art. 😉 Delicious coffee and espresso done right.

First off- The coffee was amazing. Very very good.

However- the two baristas were quite standoffish. They weren’t inherently rude, but they certainly were not pleasant. No idea why. (I gave them a tip, like I do with all baristas). I said thank you, multiple times and got *crickets*. I don’t need someone to be bubbly, but I do expect some basic pleasantries in this industry.

We went to north market on Sunday before MLK day. Being relatively “new” to coffee I had lots of questions. The gentleman spent prolly 20-25 minutes explaining coffee locations and taste. I left with the expresso beans that had been roasted the day before. This coffee is SO much better than grocery store coffee.

This Place was highly recommended to me for coffee, and it did not disappoint. I ended up trying the special of the month which was a peeps coffee. I worried it was going to be too sweet but honestly the fantastic blend of coffee with that sweetness really gave it a Great balance. Also wanted to try one of their chocolate chip cookies while I was there because it is homemade in-house. Good stuff all around. Make sure you stop here if you’re in Columbus!!

Delicious! These folks know about exotic coffee but can make a wonderful pumpkin spice latte.

I’ve quickly become a regular at this coffee shop. Stumbled into it as I was driving by, and now I love getting work done here! Coffee isn’t too expensive either. Love the plentiful amount of seating (both indoor and outdoor) and fast WiFi.

Right next to The Book Loft, it’s a good place to relax and have a good cup of coffee.
We went for a Mocha Chill and a Chai Chill along with an Espresso Chocolate Cake. We didn’t like the taste of either of the coffees – not to say something was wrong, just that it wasn’t the kind of coffee that suited our taste buds. However, the Espresso Chocolate Cake was truly amazing – that explains why we had the last piece. The coffee flavor was perfectly balanced out with the chocolate. Visually too, the cake was super tempting.
They have multiple seating options. There are a few tables just outside the cafe on the sidewalk. They have a good indoor capacity. In addition, they have a couple of tables with umbrellas in the patio set up they’ve created. On a sunny day, open seating is definitely great. In addition, they have another closed peaceful room adjacent to the patio.
Besides the brewed coffee, they also sell raw coffee, coffee machines and mugs etc. Just as you enter you also see some kind of machine (not sure what it is) that gives you a feeling that you’re in the coffee world now!!!

Overall, I loved the ambiance, the overall feel and the cake here. Not so impressed with the coffee yet, but would still give it another try if I’m in this area.
