I am staying in a hotel next door so I thought I’d pop on over to have some Mexican food for dinner. The Burrito Gonzales was delicious. Glad I went. You should give it a try.

Went here on 2/15/26. Been there 2 or 3 times before in the past but we will never be back.
Walked in. A family was being seated. When it was our turn we asked for a booth on the left side of restaurant. Young Man was nice and sat us. There was only one other table currently on that side..
Shortly after the Young man set another table right behind us. Shortly, after that, he sat another table near the table that was originally there before we sat.. After sitting there for several minutes, maybe 5 to 7 minutes that young man then Waited on the table that he said right behind us. Shortly after that, another man came from the back and waited on the table that was sat third after us when he was done with them he came to our table. we had say there so long, we went ahead and ordered our food. And an alcoholic drink and queso. After about 10 minutes of waiting for queso and the alcoholic drink, the manager passed by and I asked him if there was a hold up on our drink and queso as the other table that he had already waited on had chips and salsa, queso, and all of their alcoholic drinks. while we were still waiting the manager said what do you want? I said my queso and alcohol drink. shortly after that, a young girl brought Chips and salsa. No queso..
I saw our waiter with queso and what looked like our drink. Nope. He sat it down at his other table.
The manager came back by and said did you get your could and salsa. I said I asked for queso. He repeated to me. You want queso ? We’ve now been there 30 min and only have water.
I told manager you know what I don’t want the queso anymore. We are leaving. The service is terrible here. I will always go to ole faithful El Mezon in lake st Louis. We can be in and out of there in 30 min total. Only reason we were there that Sunday night was we were on that end of town.

I dined by myself and was slightly worried they would take awhile to come to me because it was a busy Friday night and I was just a table of 1. I was proven wrong. The staff continously checked on me and served me everything I requested. Their jumbo margarita had an exquisite flavor and was strong. Though there was no price on the menu, I knew what I was getting into. The jumbo margs run you about $13. I also ordered the chillaquiles and it came out quickly. It was so delicious and the perfect slight spice. It was a huge portion and I left with plenty of leftovers. I would 1000% come back again. The staff did a great job despite how busy it was and I am super impressed!

First timer. I originally originally ordered the arroz con pollo not realizing all the vegetables were already mixed into the rice. I was just gonna eat the chips and queso since we ordered a large but my brother let me try one of his cheesesteak tacos and it was really good so I replaced it with that instead. Will definitely come back with my friend.

At the start i was pretty excited especially when I asked for a spicy salsa to the nachos and they asked green or red I thought oh damn that’s going to be a good place but it wasn’t.
I ordered the special seasonal lovers margarita and it was just very sweet and not really good. For food I ordered the Mocajete and it looked really good but it didn’t really taste good. The meat was very chewy and it was pretty bland and boring.
I spent $45 there and it was really not worth it.

This place is amazing, loved it! Chips and salsa are delicious and the main plates are amazing. The chicken and steak are perfect, nice and moist, tons of flavor. My parents come here almost every week and this was the first time my wife and I joined them. We’re from Texas and in for Christmas. Will be coming back again before we leave!

Wish for 4.5 stars . Excellent atmosphere; two steps up from other Mexican restaurant in the area. Food also has better flavor than other Mexican restaurants in the area. Always great service.

We used door dash through Instacart? This was a daughter & SIL’s house in St Peters Placed large order for supper Waited 49 min , recd noticed it was picked up & we should receive it in 20 min . Got another notice at about 3 minutes it’ll be there . Then we get a final notice it is cancelled !!!!!!!We were told driver stole our food !!!!! They’re not sure who EVEN picked up our order . Your establishment is a joke!
