Classic American dining that reflects a time period when fast and fairly priced didn’t mean over processed & no nourishment.

Large clean dining area with a small menu, fast turn around from order to plate. This location even has a drive through, with the large portions I would not want to eat in a vehicle.

Loved the beef gravy for the fries, hearty and warm on a cold day. Large portion of fries too. Hot dog had too much of a snap for my liking. Like how the onion is cut but definitely too much and I think it should go under the chili for a better bite.

The food isn’t winning any awards in taste but it is filling and will last you most of the day, stick to your bones kind of meal. Small menu so everything is made fresh.

First time here had to try a burger and dog house style, mustard, chili & onion. Did not expect a burger on a hot dog bun but it worked.

Fairly priced for how basic it is, will go here over corporate fast food any day !!

So glad places like this still exist. Hot dogs are great and the burgers are super unique and delicious. Stop in if you’re anywhere near here.

I had high hopes and was pretty let down. The food here is below mid. I got the double chili cheese dog special with fries. The two hotdogs that had a weird consistency. The exterior skin had a snap to it. It was a very uncomfortable texture. The chili was bland and flavorless. The onions were over powering and there was to much of them. The bread was below mediocre. The fries were unsalted and bland. The best thing on the plate was the cheese in the cup and that’s saying something. The prices were way too high for what I got. I will say the staff were super friendly and very welcoming and the restaurant itself was a nice and home style place but I won’t be back. This place has nothing famous going for it.

The famous weiner will no longer be famous. I’ve been eating at the Famous since a child. It has always been amazing. But ever since Kunzler hotdogs sold out to Hatfield, the famous has went with a terrible supplier of hotdogs. Perhaps even the worst hotdogs. I’m talking Bar S quality. They’re terrible tough and tasteless. It’s like eating a large Slim Jim!!! For God’s sake use a proper hotdog! Use Berk’s hotdogs! Until Famous Hot Weiner decides to start using a proper hotdog for their Famous Weiner, I can no longer purchase them. That said, I’m glad that nothing else has changed and will gladly purchase their famous burger and Golden fries as well as other items from their classic menu.

Was extremely crowded. Very little seating available. Food was fresh and hot. Friendly staff. The special for the 2 hamburger and fries are good to split between 2 people. They only serve 1/2 hamburger in a hot dogs bun. Can’t get cheese on the hamburgers.

We love this place. Best special around. Great people. Wait staff is great. The 2 dog special can be split with an extra fry and be totally satisfied.

Hometown favorite. Hubby had hot dog special with everything except mustard, gravy for the fries. I had the fish salad with Ken’s fat free dressing. Little bit short on fries today but Good eats always.

We came here for a quick bite to eat on Saturday. We got the special which was 2 chili hot dogs and fries, with a large drink for $17. Hot dogs were pretty good, fries were okay(could’ve used more salt, but still good) and staff was helpful and friendly.

The food is just bad, tasteless fries, hot dogs that are so chewy we couldn’t finish, the server was a lovely lady but we just can’t get past how bad the food was, we ordered the special with fries, and I’d we hadn’t gotten cheese there would have been no flavor at all. For a kich/niche joint we expected at least edible food.
