We had a great first visit thanks to our waiter Davyon. He was patient while we figured out what to order and stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. The place has a really cozy, inviting vibe with nice decor.
We started with spring rolls and miso soup, then had a tempura roll and our entrees (drunken noodles and veggie pad thai, both heat level 1). Food came out fast and tasted good, but the flavors didn’t quite hit like we expected. Portion sizes were okay but not quite enough for leftovers, which we usually get at this price point.
The sushi was definitely the highlight. Really delicious. There’s another Thai place up the road with bolder flavors and bigger portions for about the same price, but they don’t have sushi. We’ll be back when we’re craving sushi rolls because those were on point.

We did take out. It was okay. Mother didn’t like it but it did the job but not my fav. Grateful for good family time.

I had a sashimi bento box with tempura shrimp and veggies. Also included was a salad, California roll, fried rice and dumplings. It was a satisfying lunch. The six pieces of fish were super fresh. The tempura was not the best I’ve had. The salad dressing was mayonnaise based. Service was great, attentive, beverages refilled, second orders completed and go boxes supplied. Price was in target for the quantity of food. The atmosphere is casual.

Great selection & reasonable prices. I love tempura but the celery tempura was not a vegetable I expected. Miso soup, tea, and fried rice were all great. Fast service too!

This place was great for lunch! Atmosphere was nice and the music was at a tastefull volume. You can tel they care by the way the napkins were folded. Our server was around but didn’t bug us. Reasonably priced, and very tasty. Bento boxes were filling and the sashimi was very fresh! Highly recommend!

The food is always great here, especially the sushi, but their open/closed hours are off just about every time we go. Went yesterday around 11:40AM when the times posted on the front door were open and online confirmed too, but a small sign saying “sorry we’re closed” hung on the door with the door itself closed. When you get in here it’s great, but that’s if you can catch them when they’re actually open (despite what hours posted on the front door and online say) 🙁

Having recently moved to Shelbyville, I was in search of a good Thai restaurant, and decided to try Lemongrass Sushi & Thai first. Pretty sure I found my spot.. nice place with plenty of parking, super clean, great atmosphere and service, and my Pad Thai was delicious! I’ll be back for Pad See Ew and some curries, can’t wait. Thank you Lemongrass staff, very nice..

Absolutely loved my experience at Lemongrass in Murfreesboro! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special night out. The menu is a delightful fusion of fresh flavors, and each dish was fantastic.
The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The presentation was also on point, showcasing the care and creativity that goes into every meal.

I was craving sushi and have yet to try a place out here in the Boro. Lemongrass was on my Yelp list and happens to be close to where I live so my family and I decided to try it out. I’ve seen others giving them raving reviews so that was a good sign.
Keep in mind they do close during the mid part of the day so check their hours before going! We arrived 11 minutes after opening for their dinner crowd and the place was already half full. Definitely a sign that they are popular in the area.
My husband and I each ordered Thai tea for drinks and their crab Rangoon for appetizer. Highly HIGHLY recommend both. The tea was just the way I like it, very sweet. And the crab Rangoon – honestly I could eat an order myself. Which I will probably do next time!
For our dinner, my husband got the Sex on the beach roll and the Do Re Me roll. I tried the JB roll and Dynamite roll. Both of us enjoyed our picks. They definitely have a bunch of options for both Japanese cuisine and Thai.
