My husband and I had been wanting Long John Silvers for a long time. Finally went in to the location at Kellogg and Rock Road. To start the pop machine was out of ice and the pop was just carbonation so we had to wait just to get ice. Next the food was so disgusting we ended up throwing it away because it was old. You couldn’t even bite the shrimp because it was so old. It’s sad when you have to wait 10 minutes for old and cold food not to mention we didn’t get everything that we paid for. Geez what a waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and go next door to chipotle. I do not recommend.

How does an A&W not have root beer.
The interior is shaded and dreary. The staff don’t seem to care, and felt depressing. hell. The food came out in less than a minute but was slapped together. The onions weren’t chopped or diced. The tomato wasn’t a slice it was a wedge. And the patties were uncooked. I’ll head back to A&W in iola ill drive the extra distance for better quality, EVERYTHING. At least they can keep busy enough to actually have ran out of root beer by customers and not poor preparation. If you like food, go anywhere else. Not here.

We got the familyeal of 8 fish and 2 large sides that come with hush puppies as well. The cashier was not very friendly and the store floor looked like it had been mopped with grease. We have always loved Long Johns and since they closed down the one in South Dakota we decided to overlook this. When we got our food the fish tasted like it sat in old oil, the hush puppies we the same and the coleslaw was so horrible I spit it out. Will definitely not be going back to this Long Johns. We spent over $40 and it was a complete waste of money. We threw it in the garbage and left.

I have ordered the popcorn shrimp at a location near where I live, and I always get lovely, beautiful big shrimps and a big container of them for the 3 1/2 dollars. Unfortunately, I will never get them at this location again see picture attached it is not worth 3 1/2 dollars for this tiny amount of shrimp. Order the shrimp from a different location not this one. Other than that, the service was decent and the rest of the food was decent.

Lobby is closed. Stuck in drive thru with no way to bail out. 1 hour later I was able to place order. Asked for sauce. Now iam used to not getting sauce. I asked for tarter and shrimp sauce. Window, I checked the bag. No sauce. I asked for the sauces. They are out of shrimp sauce. They gave me 1 squirts of tater sauce in a cup. I asked for a bunch more for 8 pieces of fish. Denied management refuces to pay extra for non value products. They limited the amount of sauce to 2 squirts per order. Really 8 pieces of fish 1 container with 2 squirts. I did not argue with the poor little gal in driv thru. She did what was asked of her. She did say this is normal. I like long johns. I can’t say I will ever go back to this one.

Went there today and spent $47.00 and it took a while to get our food which was not even hot. Chicken was warm but the planks are more the size of hot wings now, waffle fries were not even warm, the hushpuppies were doughy in the middle but the shrimp and cole slaw were good. Lady that took our order was super friendly but won’t be back due to the quality and price. Will try another long John’s and see if their chicken is that small now. Really disappointed!!

Hadn’t had Long John Silvers in many years.
Very disappointing food at an extremely high price. But then again with our current inflation, I can understand. Greasy fish and hush puppies were less than OK, but edible. Sides were awful. Cole slaw was not special. Corn and rice very plain and unsavory. For 2 meals, we were given 4 containers of tarter sauce that barely had a teaspoon of sauce in each of them. What a waste of containers. Basically almost empty before we even started! Our son worked here as a teen — his first job almost 30 years ago. So sad. So much for positive reminiscing. Cost us about $29 and we only had 1 drink — a diet A&W root beer which was the only very good item. Will definitely not be back.
