Try dinner here for the first time. We wanted barbecue, so we went with the barbecue platter. Great assortment of pulled pork spare ribs and brisket. We added mac and cheese, onion rings, and the coleslaw. We enjoyed the spare ribs.Everything was great.Service was outstanding will be back.

Have been going here for many years. Food was always really good, however this visit was not. Stopped in about 3:00. Only a few people at another table. Ordered brisket sandwich and cheeseburger. Cheeseburger was very thin. Brisket was more like jerky. Both cold, as well as fries and onion rings. Very disappointed as we expected much better. Service was good and friendly service as usual, but not sure if we’ll give it another try.

the food and drinks are fantastic. the wait was a little but not crazy bad consider we came after spring game.
in a way you want to be lenient because the busy is cuz of the game but also if you run a bar in college town. GameDay are all going to be busy. you should just be prepared for it. there are like 10 other bars.
edit: there was what seemed a random “GameDay gratuity 20%” added on the bull that isn’t noted on thr menu or ANYWHERE IN THERE. we had to wait excessive time for thr bill, boxes ,napkins. businesses get busy. but thr attitudes were pretty flippant. when my brother in law wanted to talk to thr manager about it; she cut him off and Karen’d him.
people are paying good money here. there wasn’t any reason to wait on ppl sat next to us who were seated 20 mts after us served and out before us. there was more of them

Absolutely love the Jug! Grew up in Ida and we drank a few there back in the day for sure! Now that I’m old we just go for dinner lol. We usually get the fisherman’s platter and play some keno but I’ve had the pizza and a few other things and it’s always good! Even when it’s packed the service is always good and the staff is always friendly! We laughed with our waitress every time she came by to check on us. I definitely recommend The Little Brown Jug!!

Little Brown Jug is our go to place for family gatherings! They are a great place to stop for an awesome meal anytime, but they can also take on our group of 20 and run it efficiently. Meals are hearty and fresh, everyone can order what they’re craving, and they manage to bring it out quickly. Staff is friendly and they often feel like family. The place is clean, and you can sit at the bar or choose a table for more of a restaurant feel. It’s one of our favorite places to be.

I had come here for a surprise birthday party for my grandpa, and the food was amazing! The All American Angus Burger was perfectly cooker with the crisp bun on top was spectacular! The fries were a perfect golden and the pretzel bites, let me tell ya, they’re to die for! The cheese sauce you get with em is perfect and I could eat them anytime!!! 10/10 🙂

We had a memorial motorcycle ride planned in advance and what we had planned fell through. We called last minute before the ride to see what they could do to help. The staff was very polite on the phone and said that there would be no problem that she would make it happen. They brought extra staff aboard to accommodate us. There was approximately 30 or so bikes and some of us had a passenger. Amanda, Heather and Mary was more than on top of there game. Service was top notch. They pulled together as a team and we had the best service we have ever had as big group. They kept smiling the whole time and never seemed overwhelmed. They made us feel at home and we were well taken care of. Not to mention the warriors behind the scene cooking our food. Cory, Mike and Jake’s determination and accuracy kept the food coming out quick and on point! Presentation was there and food was excellent. Everyone was able to eat at the same time which was critical so we could get to our destination. You guys together make a great team and definitely hit a home run in our book! Keep up the good work and we will definitely be back!
