Dang good Jumbo breakfast burrito. More than one meal if you wanted too. Salsa is good as well. They have lots of pan dulces as well. Tortillas and cakes, I only stopped for the breakfast burritos, however I stopped the whole week I was in town. Great parking lot and plenty of seating indoors. Stop by and give it a try for sure!

A true Tejano treasure in Arlington! The food is superb, especially the menudo, which is absolutely delicious. The breakfast tacos are on point, and the bakery items are just as good. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. My wife and I are so happy we found this authentic Tejano/Mexican bakery. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. We were genuinely impressed by both the food and the service. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience for a lunch date with my son. It was happy hour when we arrived so the pastries were half off. They were a bit sweet but the meal was amazing I love gorditas and I tried guiso for the first time. (I think that’s what it is called). Nonetheless, it’s a great place to done. It was also very clean. Don’t expect chips and dip if you dine in though!

Hands down THE BEST PHOTOG EVERRRR!!

After our morning live shots and shooting video/interviews for our story, Javi took us to Marquez Bakery Arlington !

First time!

Have you been?

He says it’s iconic.

The burritos were so well-seasoned, I didn’t even need red or green sauce for flavor, it was so good by itself.

Then he was like take some pastries for the hubby and kids

I haven’t had a Maranito since Gabriela Cadena gave me one in San Antonio

This place is too expensive and not worth it! I will never buy sweet bread at this bakery ever again! I bought several different types of sweet bread and it was hard and old. Also, bought barbacoa and it had a weird, strong smell. It also came with flour tortillas but they were old and hard. Too far for me to drive back to Arlington so I gave it to the dogs.

I ordered some tamales and barbecoa.
Tamales were so dry I choked. Definitely need water when eating them. Not to mention they are pretty much just selling you the unflavored masa.

The barbecoa was not barbecoa but a shredded roast.

SUCH A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT.
I woke up wanting a piece of my childhood but whatever the new cooks or owners are doing. Its no wonder they now only have the one location.
Papa’s con chorizo…the papa’s were still hard !!
I could go on and on …I had to go back inside 3 times because they got my order wrong …on a slow day when it was just me and another customer.
If you want some good food…I wouldn’t recommend this spot . To anybody. Go to panchos tacos down the street.

I purchased 3 dozen tamales for a Christmas gathering. More than 2 dozen ended up in the trash. I wouldn’t even feed them to the dog. DISGUSTING! I can’t even begin to explain the flavor. So gross and disappointing. I was so embarrassed.

Marquez Bakery catered the dessert table at our wedding. Every pastry was delicious, and my spread looked awesome. Sally was great to communicate with, and was upfront about pricing and other expectations.

First time visiting and it’s so delicious! Gorditas are made to perfection! Thin corn pocket stuffed with Barbacoa! Served hot and fresh! Not usually a fan of refried beans but these are the best I have ever had! Must be an old family recipe! Bakery items are made fresh daily! Had to get a bag of treats to go!
