This is a wonderful gem of the area, the owner is incredibly kind & attuned, the food is all great (everything our larger group ordered ). Atmosphere & food presentation is also wonderful! One of my favorite parts was all the delicious drinks! The frozen mint lemonade is such a treat, the normal lemonade also yummy, mango lassi so good, a rose dessert is so unique!

Super nice and cultural spot for lunch or dinner. Customer service is always very friendly. Hard working and honest. My go-to is the beef nihari and naan.

Wonderful restaurant! I came for the first time today and enjoyed the comfortable, home-like environment. EVERYONE was friendly, kind, thoughtful, and helpful.

Multiple employees checked on us throughout the night, and our server Paula was so sweet!!

The pani puri and junagadhi kebab were delicious — I loved the presentation. Nihari could use some more spice, but was well made, and the Highway Chicken Karahi was flavorful. I prefer their garlic naan to the plain naan, and was appreciative of the multiple refills on sliced chili, ginger, and lime.

They have wudhu steps on the wall in the bathroom, REAL plants that are well-tended, space for FLOOR SEATING and table/booth seating — all so well done!!! They should be proud of the beautiful, peaceful, Islamic business they made!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and everyone here quickly becomes a critic. I just read the previous comments of a Shazib Iqbal and I felt I had to step in. I have worked for the food industry as an apprentice, a cook, pastry chef and a chef since I was 16 years old. Later in my career I became a teacher of those trades in various schools in the US. I do know by experience how hard the business is. I have dined with my wife and daughter many times throughout many years. We always have enjoyed great food, warm welcome in a pleasant atmosphere for the most part. Mistake happens, did mr. Iqbal expect a discount or freebee? if so was it warranted? how long did it really take after the mistake was discovered? I am sure they rushed it. Keep in mind, the profit margins in a free standing restaurant are very low.

Then the gentleman has an issue with the owner wearing open toes sandals in her restaurant? Is he part of the shoe police? That is all we need these days…

I had dinner here again tonight with my wife. my daughter and a friend of my daughter. Initially I was coming here on Google to write a positive comment due to the great experience we all had again. The 4 of us are from 3 different countries, France, China and India. While we have some similar and different preferences about food, we all enjoyed both the food and the service. The hostess manager was very professional, efficient and gracious. The service staff was responsive to our various requests, and the owner did, as she always does, came to our table to say hi and have a little friendly and warm chat. While I do not dine out all that often, as a retired chef I can cook pretty well, I will keep supporting the good work of restaurants like DDK from time to time. We are not looking for perfection but we appreciate and support good honest work.

Thank you DDK, from owner, to management, service, kitchen staff and cleaning crew for the hard work you do for us.

I came here a few times now and I like the food and the consistency. My favorite dish is the lunch combo highway chicken Karahi. The portion is good and the flavor is neither too spicy nor too mild, somewhere in the middle. I usually order it with naan as my side it comes freshly cooked and not frozen. The place is quite and special and the owners keep a fresh set of green plants by the door I like it overall for a person or family

I’m really disappointed to be writing this review because I used to love this place. We went for brunch/lunch today with a group of over 12 adults, and I was shocked by the portion sizes. Our host ordered halwa puri, and the potatoes, chana, and halwa were served in extremely small bowls. It was honestly embarrassing — both our host and our guests felt uncomfortable even taking food from such tiny servings. I wish I had taken a photo.

It also took more than an hour and a half for our food to arrive. We ordered nihari, chicken karahi, paya, chow mein, chicken nuggets and fries, and two burgers for the kids. There were no grill items or biryani in our order. Since it was the weekend and dishes like paya and nihari are usually prepared in advance, the wait time was surprising — especially because the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived.

On top of that, the restaurant looked dirty and disorganized. The staff could really improve their customer service. One of the girls at the counter was rude to one of the kids when he politely asked for something. It feels like the restaurant is trying to present a fine-dining experience by reducing portion sizes, but the space itself looked messy and unkempt.

Even the paya and nihari portions were very small. What was most frustrating was that customers who arrived after us received their food much faster. Sadly, this will be my last visit. The prices are high, but the portions are extremely small, which makes the experience even more disappointing.

Absolutely delicious experience!
The beef nihari is incredibly authentic,
the highway karahi is bursting with flavor, and the
BBQ platter is a real treat.

The naan is always served hot and crispy — perfect every time. The staff is cheerful and welcoming, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

The decor is tasteful and adds to the overall charm of the place.
The food, the staff, the service , the decor made us fan for the restaurant.

Whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or planning a small party, this spot is a fantastic choice.
Service is attentive and everything is beautifully presented.
Highly recommend!

Horrible food!
I would never recommend anyone to try their chicken biryani and Alu bun kabab because you will regret so much and will definitely feel nausea after that. Biryani tastes like it was 2-3 days old and just reheat and deliver. Also, it doesn’t taste like biryani at all even though presentation was good. If you want to eat a good food then you know what you don’t have to order.
Very disappointing!

We ordered lukhnowi and bihari kabab, and also beef nalli nihari with maghaz. The bbq items were amazing! Just that bihari kabab was missing it smoky flavour.
The nihari was honestly more like a thick salan, wouldn’t recommend it at all.
Love the ambiance of the restaurant. It’s pretty well mantained. The service is a bit slow but the staff is super nice and accommodating.

I would like to greatly appreciate and highly recognize and recommend this place to all the people that are reading my comments and the post.
Leah was our greater and had a beautiful smile on her face as soon as she saw us welcome us to the restaurant. We were in a bit of Rush because we had to go pick up our kids and I asked her specifically that if we could be served within 20 minutes and she and her team which is the kitchen personal had done an excellent job. Me and my wife we had an amazing time. Constantly she came to our table ask us if there was everything okay this place was not busy very nice and clean and we like the layout of this restaurant. When the food had arrived it was completely sizzling and look and taste amazing. If you never try their Lamb chop I insisted to try that. I ordered the mixed sizzling skillet was amazing.
I would like to recommend and request all my viewer to give them a chance and help our local small businesses.
This place is great clean and if you like kabobs nuns and Dasi flavorful food, please visit them
