Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. Nicole gave us great friendly and patient service as we scanned the menu on our first visit to the Green Turtle. I ordered a garden salad and a Chesapeake Burger with Tater Tots. I was impressed with the size of the salad and how fresh the fixings were. My burger was cooked just how I asked for and the Tater tots were crispy and tasty. I really enjoyed my meal. My wife ordered the Chili Lime Shrimp Bowl that she said was excellent. We both agreed that we will be back when we pass this way again. There are TV’s at each table and in easily visible positions on the walls.

The whole building is run down and outdated. It’s very hard to see some of the TVs because they’re extremely dim. They’re all different sizes and models, which makes it really distracting. There are even old TVs that don’t work still hanging on the walls.
When you walk in, you see an outdated cash register, a bunch of claw machines, and a TV mount hanging on a dented and scratched wall. The whole restaurant smells like cleaner, and the tables are scratched, water-damaged, and sticky.
It feels like the building hasn’t been renovated since it was built. It seems like they just keep adding new stuff after closing without ever removing the old, broken things. The design is very outdated.
It also feels like they’re trying to make a quick buck in the lobby with all the “arcade games” like claw machines, a photo booth, and a few other things. As another reviewer mentioned it is pretty ghetto. The chairs are mismatched, and the smell of cleaner still lingers, like I mentioned before.
If this is how the viewable area is I don’t want to see the kitchen. Maybe it is not bad, but I’m not hopeful. As of now I give it two stars because I’m writing this while waiting for food, but if the food is decent I might give it 3. One positive though is that they have Pepsi products, which are superior to coke sodas in every way. And they have red bull apparently.
Update: The food was not great at all. I usually can down a double cheese burger and all of the fries. But the burger was over cooked and was pretty tasteless. I regret spending the money on the burger.

Pretty typical sports bar theme. TVs at the booths made it nice to keep up with a score. Although, not all the TVs were working. Food was pretty good, i would recommend the chicken tenders. Crunchy breading, but tender and moist inside. Spicy BBQ lives up to the name. Sliders and sides were ok, nothing to to go out of your way for. Next time I would skip the slaw completely. Waitress was pleasant, but wasn’t able to explain why the kitchen was taking so long to get our order out. It was midday and not busy inside. All in all a decent place for lunch. Room for improvement though.

Solid 4 here. Everything was good and it wasn’t like the beach locations I’ve been to. Had to get something with crab dip on it and didn’t regret it.

Our server was great. We went at 5pm on a Thursday night. It looked like there were 2 servers and 1 bartender for the entire restaurant.
We ordered pretzel sticks for an appetizer and it took about 15-20 minutes for those to come out. Cannot stress enough that our server was amazing and apologized for how long it took.
Our entree’s did not come out for nearly an hour later. The wings were good, my cheeseburger was dry and barely warm, and my wife said the fish and chips were also barely warm.
I think a third server had shown up when we left at about 6:40pm. I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen, but there were not enough servers for a dinner rush, and the bartender was also bussing tables. I don’t plan on going back.

Different experience this visit as opposed to my two visits and one review seven months ago. Around six p.m. on a Wednesday evening the place was practically empty. There wasn’t anyone at the host/hostess station. The hostess who did seat me was most pleasant and accommodating. The waitress was very cordial as well. I ordered 10 wings, which were tasty along with a Shell Ranger Orange wheat. Service was extremely slow. In defense of my server she was about the only one one on my side. Food was also slow coming out. The hamburger meat fell apart while eating and the tater tots weren’t hot but not cold either, they were about room temperature.

I ate dinner here a few nights ago with my family… I will admit the hostess were very welcoming and nice. Our server on the other hand Austin, was rude and dismissive and he smelt like marijuana. The food was good, but he took a while to check on us… We did see him a few times chatting with an other server when we needed refills on drinks. I don’t know how the mangers would allow their employees to smell like marijuana, any other restaurant I’ve been to I have NEVER had that type of unprofessional behavior.

First time in this area, decided with friends to have a late lunch. Picked this place, and we have no issues during ordering, food. Our server was great and attentive. Sorry forgot to ask her name. Food took a while to come out, wonder why , place is not even filled, but server updates us from time to time. Appetizers was good , and when main dish arrived, it did not disappoint.

We went in on Tuesday night, bartender was phenomenal and servers were nice. On the other hand the manager was disheveled, in your face, and seemed under the influence. This was extremely unprofessional and downright childish. This is not a good look for your establishment and we will not be back.
