WOW! To put it plain and simple, my expectations were blown away. We chose this joint, because it was on our way back to the hotel, and needed to use restroom. The burgers had lots of flavor, even when ordering the simple cheese burger with minimal toppings. Also got a banana shake, which was solid! Would recommend here over other spots that claim to have the best burger in town.

We ordered one cheeseburger and one Mokum cheeseburger, both supposed to come with no vegetables. Instead, they brought the cheeseburger with salad, tomato, and onion, and the second one with even more vegetables. When we asked for clarification, they told us this was normal and that vegetables are always included, even though this is not stated anywhere on the menu.
When we insisted,because my partner has an allergy, they took the plate away without even saying sorry and threw it out. When they finally remade it, they brought the new one and said, “Is this what you want?” The service was very poor and put us in a really uncomfortable situation. We don’t like to complain (which is why I ate mine even though it was wrong), but this experience was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

Taking burger restaurants to the next level. Creative menu with lots of options so there’s definitely something for everyone. Very well thought out. Lamb burger with Chorizo was a lovely combination of flavors. Definitely not your average burger. Fries were perfectly crispy and the jalapeño mayo was out of this world! Best I’ve ever tasted. Cesar salad was fresh, crisp and refreshing. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Will definitely go back.

We wondered in for a late lunch and were great by Fannie. She seemed to be the only person working at that time and she was amazing. She greeted us, got us drinks, answered all our questions, Cooke sour meals and served us. The food was delicious and all 4 of us were happy. Then Fannie chatted with us about Amsterdam. We ordered the Mokum Cheeseburger, Frites Parmezaan, Caesar Salad, and Halve Maiskolf, and every dish was absolutely delicious!
– The burger was amazing – the vegetables, cheese, and beef were fresh, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Despite being wrapped in a buttery roll, it felt surprisingly light. Highly recommended!
– Fries was crispy and full of parmesan cheese.
– Caesar salad was 250gram, it had a good balance of ingredients and sauce and the croutons were very crispy.

Best burger I’ve ever eaten in Europe. The meat was so juicy and compatible with bread size. Other ingredients were also delicious. Prizes are ok. I visited here twice in my 3 days Amsterdam tour and it was totally worth it.
