This place is wonderful for breakfast. It’s small, but the food is amazing. I ordered the fajita plate, and it was delicious; the meat tasted great. I also had the Soliz tacos, which were also very tasty. The people who work out front are very friendly. I highly recommend it!

Scam. They mix as little egg as possible into a dense potato filling that is similar to the texture of mashed potatoes. Roughly $5 per taco before tip. I used to come to this shop 10 years ago when I would visit friends in the area and the quality has gone so far downhill it’s baffling. It hurts to say this because it’s a small business, but this is lousy and with food costs going up, quality should match.

“I can’t recommend this place. The parking lot is a mess, especially when it rains—it gets extremely muddy and neglected. The seating is super uncomfortable and there’s no decent place to actually sit and enjoy your meal. On top of that, the attitude from one of the owners is unacceptable. It’s a shame because the other brother is nice, but the first one’s power trip makes it not worth it.”

Loved eating at this place when we lived in Sugarland. Came to revisit. Interior was done up. Food was close but had come down a little bit in quality of what I remember. Its no longer a cash only place. They soon will be expanding. Excited to see the one in the galleria. All the best Eric.

Where do I start, I’ve been wanting to come here for a long while because of the reviews. All I can say is, never again. This place is not a Mexican restaurant! Just because the name of it is Mexican, doesn’t make the food Mexican. Today was my first visit, definitely will be our last. I spent $41, in which I feel like is very overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. My husband went and ordered, 6 breakfast tacos and a platillo. The fajita taco, more onions than anything, meat was dried and very distasteful. No seasoning! The guisado taco, NOT guisado! That’s carne desebrada. Very dry, again, no seasoning! They both left a bad after taste, so make sure you have gum or something. Potato and egg taco, more like peppered mashed potatoes taco. They must’ve forgot the eggs. The bacon and egg taco, again, forgot the eggs. Bacon was definitely not fresh, either precooked or left overs from the day before. Tastes reheated, old, stale, like cardboard. Then the platillo,.. I get it, eggs are pricey at the moment. We had ordered the platillo with 2 eggs( medium sized, small, whatever it was) beans, dried peppered potatoes, and bacon. Definitely not worth my $41. I was on FaceTime with my husband so he can tell me what they had, they were pretty rude. He asked if they had a menu and the girl gave him an “don’t you see it look” and didn’t say anything just pointed behind her, rolled her eyes and walked off. So, definitely don’t recommend this place at all. I’ve added photos so y’all can see I’m not exaggerating. Also, this place is supposedly delicious, no disrespect, but there was mainly white and a few Asians coming in and out. This food has zero flavor, it was more like hospital food tasting. Oh yes! That’s not salsa, that’s pico de gallo. Well more like mashed tomatoes, that’s all you taste. If you want Mexican food, this is not the place.

I’ve been coming here for nearly 30 years. I will never stop. The consistency in food quality has never dropped. Every visit (hundreds now), my food has been perfect. Their tortillas are to die for, everything tastes homemade, fresh and mouthwatering-ly good!

People have been telling me about his place for ages and I finally tried it. Now, I like tacos as much as the next guy but there are so many tacos places. Does one place really make em better than another? The answer is yes.

Soliz Tacos in Stafford is a must-try! Got the picadillo and the Eric (added bacon for that extra kick), and both were packed with bold, fresh flavors. These tacos are stuffed to the brim and totally satisfying. Pro tip: order ahead to beat the rush. Already looking forward to my next visit!

“I’ve been a regular here out of convenience, but the difference between the two brothers is night and day. While one is helpful, the other is incredibly rude and unprofessional. He was aggressive over a simple receipt request and even got offended when I picked up a pen. One brother is holding this place together, but the other is driving customers away. There are cheaper and better tasting options just a few yards away. I won’t be back.”

Food was hot, fresh, and made to order. I got tacos with potatoes, guac, and beans! So good and the gentleman who took my order was very polite and professional. Very cute space, better to get your food togo though. Been wanting to try it for years so I am so glad I finally stopped in. I will be back soon 🙂
