From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm “Good morning!” and genuine smiles. We were quickly seated in Samantha’s section, and her energy immediately set the tone for a great breakfast. She was upbeat, attentive, and brought my coffee just the way I like it — with extra sugar and cream without me having to ask twice.
Our food came out hot and fast, and everything smelled amazing. My steak in particular was cooked beautifully and tasted just as good as it looked. One side was slightly less tender, but Samantha didn’t hesitate — she got Manager Esa involved right away. Esa handled the situation with professionalism and care, offering multiple options to make things right.
What impressed me most was watching Esa “manage by walking around.” He checked on guests and staff alike, ensuring everything ran smoothly. That kind of leadership is rare these days. This Denny’s location clearly values great service, teamwork, and customer care. I’ll gladly choose this location over the Monroeville one any day. Thank you for starting my morning off on such a positive note!

Waited over 30 minutes for them to get my eggs wrong. This is not “fried through”. I even told my waitress than I have gut issues and I’m very sensitive to my food not being cooked completely.

I decided to grab some breakfast from Denny’s on a Sunday around lunch time. I didn’t want to eat there so I ordered a breakfast slam to go.
Here is a breakdown of my meal:
Scrambled Eggs – Basic. No salt or pepper included to season with so thankfully I was eating my meal at home.
4 strips of bacon – Flavorless and tough like shoe leather. I cannot fathom just how cheap and microwaved the bacon was to have no flavor.
Hashbrowns – Flavorless and undercooked. Every bite was tough and chewy. Even salt and pepper couldn’t save this.
Two pancakes – Hard to mess up pancakes so they were alright.
I received no utensils, no salt, no pepper but did get one decent sized dollap of butter, two syrup containers, and a bunch of ketchup packets. No napkins.
All in all, I was excited to treat myself by grabbing breakfast on a day off and enjoying in the comfort of my home. The meal was so disappointing and bland that I genuinely did not enjoy it and wished I had drove the extra 5 minutes to go to eat n park.

Let’s start with the bad service: our server was exceptionally inattentive. We had to ask for refills, (somehow she didn’t put ice in my husbands soda refill) and I had to literally hunt down syrup for my pancakes after asking for it because she never brought it over. I’m not sure when hot tea suddenly isn’t a free refill beverage even though it’s listed as such and I have to beg for another cup of hot water to reuse the same teabag, when you previously got two teabags. Server vanished when it was time to get some boxes and our bill and we were waiting for 30 minutes for her to reappear. In that time another one of our servers tables was trying to pay and was told “but I don’t have a bill for you yet” because she had been ignoring them for so long. Then we stood there for 20 minutes waiting to pay while our server texted in the server station.
Next the food, the brisket sandwich was awful and chewy and was like jerky. It was the first time my husband has ever hated something he has gotten. Our server only gave us one option for sauce for our app platter so I dipped mozzarella sticks in ranch which is a crime.
Next time I need a late night meal after a show I’ll stick with sheetz, lesson learned.

Sunday Feb 1st 26 server had Attitude.customer lost appetite to finish eating. I Gathered personal
Belongings.Manager came from out of nowhere. Explain to him server had Attitude toward me said I was leaving. He said can I box up your food. I replied no I’m leaving. I proceed to exit. Server came out of nowhere Heckling me a 78 year old Combat Veteran of Vietnam War. Shame on you the words out of mouth. Servers Attitude was at high Pitch even then as I walked out.told server she’s a Nasty Women:

How to best interact with older senior, those might be grieving a lost of a Loved one and War Veterans Thank You All is Forgiven Always and Forever.

Dennys? Are you kidding me? Haven’t been to a Denny’s in years. Guess what it was excellent. The night manager here, rocks. Very good food, served very fast, with a smile. Clean and fun. I remember Denny’s.

Don’t visit this location often but felt like I never had a near bad experience until tonight. The soup was totally cold bowl and all. The grilled cheese was so greasy and literally not one piece of cheese melted. I didn’t even bite the sandwich and still paid full price for everything?
