We stopped by El Trompo Mexican Taqueria and everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered the carne asada tacos, an asada torta, and nachos, and each dish was superb.
The flavors were clean, vibrant, and so well balanced with nothing heavy or overwhelming, just very well-prepared food that lets the ingredients shine.
Their signature salsas were incredible too, adding the perfect kick without overpowering the dishes. You can really taste the freshness in everything they serve.
The restaurant itself was very clean and had a modern, polished feel, which made the whole experience even better.
All in all, amazing food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. Definitely a spot that lives up to its rating! ✨

Wow!! The food was delicious and fresh! Some of the best chicken tacos and guacamole I’ve ever had. They have a great drink menu too with fresh juices, beer and wine. Quick and friendly service too. I will definitely be back!

We had the tacos (Al pastor de cerdo y al pastor de pollo) as well as tamales verde and sopa de tortilla and enchiladas as well as some chips and queso.
Al pastor is absolutely delicious! The tortilla soup is also excellent. Get a large because you’re going to want to share it! The tamales are a special occasion. I wish I could have tried both but the verde was excellent as well.
Whenever I’m un in the norther hinterlands I will definitely be back!!!

We are huge fans of this place. Everything we have ever ordered is absolutely delicious and the service is fantastic. We always get guacamole and the chicken tortilla soup which is the best I’ve ever had. The tacos are exceptional and they just added tamales which are delicious. If you want top notch authentic Mexican food in a friendly, cozy neighborhood hole in the wall, this is your place.

I was really disappointed with my visit. The meat in my torta de milanesa was completely raw, which is a serious food safety issue. There was also no music inside, which made the dining experience feel awkward. The nopales at the condiment bar weren’t fresh… they were pickled. Also there were only about four small sliced radishes available, already browning. Meanwhile, the staff taking orders were on their phones instead of possibly refilling the condiment bar since it was a busy Sunday afternoon.

The burrito is absolutely massive, know that before you go in. They have an option for a mini burrito, so unless you’re famished, that might be the better option. The burrito is tasty, though.
The price also reflects the size. About $17 with tax for a chicken burrito.
Also, note that it comes with pineapples so you’ll have to ask for them to leave those out if that’s not your vibe.

My favorite place for authentic Mexican food, without a doubt the best tacos in town! Now they’re serving tamales and they are definitely authentic Mexican tamales, now my favorites too. El Trompo never ceases to amaze me! I loved their tamales, they’re delicious!!

I love this place for tacos! Its one of the few places you can get lunch for less than $10 now a days. 3 tacos is only $9. And the staff is very nice. I love the chicken al pastor tacos more than the beef even though I usually go for beef.
