This all-you-can-eat sushi spot really exceeded my expectations. The sushi is fresh, well-prepared, and surprisingly high quality for an AYCE restaurant. There’s a wide variety of rolls, sashimi, and hot dishes, all served quickly.

One of my favorite options was the hot stone grilled beef — super tender, flavorful, and really fun to grill it yourself right at the table. It honestly made the whole AYCE experience feel more premium.

The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for hanging out with friends. Service was solid and attentive.

Definitely a hidden gem for anyone who loves sushi and AYCE with something extra. Would 100% come back.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Sushi Toshi today, and it was made extra special because of the excellent service we received. A huge shout-out to Monique, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. From the moment we arrived, she was very welcoming, friendly, and extremely accommodating to all our needs.

Monique consistently checked on us throughout our meal to ensure everything was perfect, without ever making us feel rushed. Her attention to detail, positive attitude, and genuine care for customer satisfaction made a huge difference. This was honestly the best service we have ever experienced, and it truly elevated our dining experience.

Thank you, Monique, and the Sushi Toshi team for such an outstanding experience. Because of this level of service, we will absolutely be returning and highly recommending this place to others!

I recently visited Sushi Toshi with my family for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was quite busy, so it was great that we had a reservation and didn’t have to wait.

The service was friendly and welcoming, nothing extravagant but very professional. The all-you-can-eat menu is impressive, though the hot stone items like steak, shrimp, and mussels are limited to 1 per person.

The hot stone grilled steak was my favorite — juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I also really enjoyed the surf clam, one of my top picks. On the other hand, the chicken skewers were a bit dry, maybe cooked a little too long, but my family enjoyed all the sushi items.

Ending the meal with a complimentary ice cream was a really nice touch.

Overall, we had a wonderful dinner and would definitely like to come back to try more dishes. Highly recommended!

I was with a large party and had our reservation changed to a later time twice. They split us into several sections for ordering and my section didn’t receive any food till others were already on second round. We also did not get everything we ordered and had to keep reminding the server. Some of our food was also delivered to a different section. The food was delicious and the restaurant was packed. Being small and that many people it was also very loud. The food was worth it though

I had an amazing experience at Sushi Toshi. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The sushi itself is exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and presented with great attention to detail. I especially loved the [insert dish/roll], which balanced flavors perfectly. Prices are very fair for the quality you get. If you’re looking for a sushi place that combines great food with excellent service, Sushi Toshi is the spot!

In all my years of eating sushi, I’ve never went to an AYCE sushi place until now. So this was my first AYCE experience here. And after our dinner, this place will be pretty difficult to beat.

We came here for our anniversary dinner. My boyfriend put in a reservation earlier, and once we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. It was a Monday night but I was so surprised at how packed the place was. This was our first time here so the server explained how ordering on the slip works. Wait time wasn’t terrible. And like I mentioned before, this place was so packed and full of people. All the servers that night were weaving through aisles, delivering food, and taking orders. They were all hustling.

Food was delicious. We started off with a couple of rolls like California Rolls, Avocado, Tuna, Salmon, and Tamago. The sushi rolls were pretty small, but I didn’t have a problem with it. Since it’s AYCE, I knew that we’d have much more food coming. I was very impressed by the quality of fish. It tasted very fresh. Also we ordered the seared Beef Nigiri and that was delicious. We ended up ordering more of that later.

For the next round, we ordered Edamame, Beef (? it was like a beef galbi cut but I forgot the name of it on the menu), Chicken Skewers, Green Onion Cake, and Tempura. For our Tempura veggies we chose pumpkin, yam, and eggplant. I loved the tempura. It was definitely a highlight of the night. The batter was very crispy, light, and all the tempura came out hot. It was wonderful. We ended up getting more after the first round of tempura because it was too good. The Chicken Skewers were phenomenal. My boyfriend and I were saying that if we had the Chicken Skewers with rice, that would just be enough. The flavor of the sauce was great: savory, slightly sweet, it was reminiscent of a teriyaki flavor for me.

And lastly, we had the BC Roll, Alberta Roll, Crunchy Roll, Philadelphia Roll, the seared Beef Nigiri again, and a few other rolls. At this point of the dinner we barely had any steam left but somehow we managed. Every single we thing we ate was just amazing. I wasn’t disappointed by anything we ordered actually it was just great. I will say the Crunchy Roll had this smokiness that scratched my brain in the best way possible and I was so impressed by that bite.

This was such an unforgettable experience and the best place we’ve spent our anniversary haha. 10/10, take my money. To Sushi Toshi, I’ll be thinking about you.

We reserved a table 5 hours in advance, showed up and had to wait 25 mins for our table to get “cleaned up” when nothing was getting done.Table was left with garbage on it and was barely cleaned throughout our hour of stay. $20 TIP was taken for an adult and a child because the table had 7 people on it. I’d have no worries paying the service fee as long as there is service given.
The coke was given to us in a bottle that looked like hair oil bottle. Sushi Toshi South aide is better. This location is horrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I went to Edmonton to try a Japanese dish and did some research beforehand, checking out about 10 different restaurants. After comparing reviews, menus, prices, and ambiance, Sushi Toshi stood out as the best option.

I visited on a Saturday during dinner time, and the place was packed—about a one-hour wait. My advice: call ahead to make a reservation, as it’s clearly a popular spot.

The food was excellent—I loved everything we ordered. Be sure to try their hot stone option (limited choices like beef and shrimp, etc.), it’s worth it. The sashimi and sushi were especially outstanding, but honestly, almost everything we had was delicious.

Big kudos to our server, Lin Liang, who did an amazing job!

Love this 90-minute all you can eat Japanese food place! Really authentic Japanese food, we love the beef tataki, tempura, sashimi, and the hot stone steak! The rolls are great too. Very satisfying meal. Recommend to make reservation early as this place is super packed especially on the weekend. If you want to stay for over 90 minutes, I’d recommend to book for 7pm or after, as not many people would be waiting to take your table after 8pm.

Absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Menu is much like an all you can eat or dim sum style but so many options. Sushi, sashimi, fried foods, steaks! Wagyu butter steak!!! All so amazing! Not like any other buffet. It gets really packed so make sure to have a reservation but also would be worth the wait! Service was amazing so friendly and even gave me a tour since I was making a review! There are special rooms for groups as well as can accommodate small parties! Will go again! Absolutely amazing!
