Service is good and fast. The fries were abundant and yummy. My cheeseburger left a bit to be desired, as it was barely warm and couldn’t even melt the cheese a little bit. The floor had scattered pieces of paper on it.

I may be bias, but Johnnies is the best! An OKC metro staple for great burgers! I had a Double with shredded cheese, bacon, grilled onions and Johnnies Sauce!!!!! Absolutely delicious!!!! Added a small side of onion rings, PERFECTION!!! I really enjoy that their onion rings have a light flaky batter on them. Keep up the great work everyone!!!!

Friendly staff! But the quality is LITERALLY never good. If you want not soggy food, go to the original down on Britton. The onion rings are SO good and when you ask for well done, they’re actually cooked!

Loved this restaurant since college in the early 80’s. Same great tasting burgers and onion rings. Like a trip down memory lane, very comforting to see the same great service and food still after 45 years!

I think I’m being generous and loyal giving two stars. Food, quality, service, cleanliness, everything is still great as it has been for the 32 years I’ve been going, but the recent price increase is BONKERS. $8 for a kids meal and more for an adult burger – without a side. This place is an institution in OKC, but I seriously don’t know that we’ll be back. We’ll miss the theta and onion rings. Best in town.

On our last visit when we were shocked by the prices, I asked the manager to tell the owner the prices are crazy, and all he said was, “I know!” Very, very sad to lose this staple.

This place is a local favorite, has a nostalgic taste of classic Oklahoma chardbroiled burgers.

The grilled ham cheese sandwich is very tasty and delicious.
Chicken Fried Chicken is also nicely done aswell, but their salads are exquisitely prepared and my absolute favorite.
Obviosly, their burgers have to be succulent aswell and they definitely are

Onions ring and their Johnnie’s Sauce are legendary here. My favorite is the Turkey Cranberry Salad. They need to pay more attention to their French fries the last 5 times they were exaggerated greasy also part soggy and part crispy.

The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, family-oriented.
For a fast-casual restaurant prices are on the higher side.

Almost forgot to mention that Jars of their sauce are available for purchase to enjoy at home.

Major letdown.

Fries had no seasoning, onion rings were undercooked and flavorless, and the burger was pink in the middle with way too much sauce and no toppings (you apparently have to ask for those).

Left hungry and disappointed. Won’t be back.

First time eating at this restaurant. It was busy and looked like a lot of locals like it. I did not. The sauce overwhelmed the char burger patty. The fries and onion rings had no seasoning which is too bad because they could be great. I loved the light batter on the onion rings and the fresh cut fries. They just need some simple seasoning added to them. I loved the IBC rootbeer on tap!

I got their chili cheeseburger and it was so good! Love how cheesy it is and how juicy the patty was. Also love their fries and onion rings! Non-greasy. Will definitely come back!

Interior: 80s vibe. Well-maintained, big and clean.

Cashier: such a cool guy!

Serving time: pretty fast 10-15 mins waiting time. Call you by your name.

Coconut cream pie: pretty big slice. Not so sweet as it looks

Attended a Christmas party in the back area. Service was excellent, very helpful. Burgers were hot and the onion rings were tasty. We also had a strawberry shake and their HUGE slice of cheesecake. They had sports on all the tvs, thank you. Had a great experience and will be back.
