We enjoy coming here often. Always great food, inviting atmosphere and wonderful servers, bartenders and hostesses. On this visit I decided to try the Cali-BLT and Red Pepper Soup while my wife ordered the Hot Honey Pizza and CYO burger with onion rings. Her CYO burger consisted of Chicken, Blue Cheese and Bacon. Can you tell that we really love our BACON? Everything was delicious as always. We even indulged in some cocktails. Thanks BD staff.

We went here for a casual dinner after a long day of traveling. The service was excellent.
My grandson got the fried pickles and a chicken sandwich. My daughter got a that train wreck hamburger and I had pizza with a holiday dark beer.
The food was good, but nothing really stood out as amazing. The train wreck and sweet potato fries were very good.
I think it would be good if they took the glass dividers down between the booths. All you can see is wipe marks and finger prints.

It has become WAY overpriced for what it is. They’re trying to be this premium burger joint and it just isn’t even close. $18 for a burger that’s worse than 5 guys? $18 for a pizza, again you 2 pizzas at dominos are better tasting than this for the same price. Service was good but won’t be going back.

Great experience, phenomenal service; Handcrafted Black Cherry Cream Soda is a must try. Menu is perfectly crafted for all sorts of tastes whether 4 or 40 the menu has something for everyone and it’s filling.

So we chose this place based on a recommendation from the hotel staff. Restaurant was about a mile from our hotel.
Was seated right away. Place was super clean. Waitress was amazing. Real sweet girl, only she wasn’t wearing a name tag and I really didn’t catch her name so can’t recognize her personally, however, fantastic service.
Ordered what I thought was a small chicken salad, but oh my goodness, look at the picture. Outrageous salad and man was it delicious!!!!
This gigantic salad and a beer was less than $15.
Couldn’t recommend any place better. First time here and will most definitely visit again the next time we are in Ft Wayne.

I went to Bagger Dave’s for a lunch meeting. We arrived slightly before 11am. The doors were already open. We might have been the first customers for the day. The service was good and the food was great. I had the Tavern Salad with grilled chicken.

2.5.2026 update. Stopped in for some dinner and tried the crispy cheese burger. Whatever it’s called. It had a giant flat disc of fried cheddar cheese on it. It was okay. I wouldn’t count it anything to write home about and I would definitely try a different burger next time. One thing of note on this trip was that the fries were absolutely awful. Both mine and one of my companions barely ate any of them and they were the worst fries that have had in ages. Definitely getting something different on the side next time I go. We have definitely found good burgers to eat here and my family enjoys coming here. I’ll just have to try different choices next time.
In my continuing quest to find good cheese curds, I got a chance to stop by Bagger Dave’s for dinner. Unfortunately, I think overall it was just a so-so experience. The atmosphere in the places nice for the tavern experience that I believe they’re trying to go for. The service was good and we were well taking care of. We were able to customize our burger the way we wanted it, including swapping out the turkey patty for a beef one. And having the burger prepared on a bed of lettuce without the bun.
I would say our burgers were really good and might even be approaching being worth the $15 price tag but I would say overall that the food was just okay. If you’re looking for cheese curds, there are definitely better places in town that I have reviewed. Culver’s and Mad Anthony’s are way above bagger Dave’s in my opinion. The cheese curds here are made from Wisconsin white cheddar which is great but the breading really didn’t have any seasoning that complemented the cheese in any way. They were good but not as good as I feel like they could have been. The fries here were the real disappointment. I got the train wreck burger which was excellent and the people that I was with really enjoyed the mushroom and Swiss burger. But the fries that come with the burger were flavorless, not very warm and did not have any kind of seasoning on them at all. Maybe I should have tossed some more salt on them or something but I feel like the batch is that all three of us got were from the bottom of the fryer and had been there for a little while.
Overall, I think I wouldn’t mind returning and trying a different burger. That was definitely the highlight of the evening.

I will be back for my Fuego Burger cooked Patty Melt style again. I’m 47 and I told my wife it was the best burger I’ve ever tasted. The fair style tasting fries were excellent too. It all started with the delicious pretzel sticks. I had a New Your bourbon that was so good. Think I found a new place to get away and eat at. Definitely recommend. Prices are excellent too.
