We made a stop here after a recommendation during breakfast, and I must say it was an excellent decision following a day of hiking and exploring multiple trails. We opted for the white pizza on the menu and added pepperoni to half of it. It was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Paired with a cold beer and finished off with homemade carrot cake, which was exceptional. The service was great, with all staff being super friendly. Highly recommended if you’re in town

I have been eating here for over 27 years. I moved away in high school but still visit several times a year. My family knows to plan our visit with at least one meal at My Father’s. I’m married and have kids and it is their favorite as well. I have so many memories centered around eating at this lovely restaurant that even if the food sucked I’d still love it. Luckily, the food is the best part. I can confidently say that the Italian sandwich is one of the top five most delicious foods I’ve ever eaten, and I have quite the broad repertoire of foods I’ve tried. I’ve had delicious meals in Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, San Antonio, Charlotte, Denver, Nuremberg, etc The list goes on, but this sandwich from My Father’s is a meal I will travel for until a time comes when I can no longer travel. The bread is robust and holds up well to the very generous amount of meat, cheese, and toppings stuffed inside without being so crusty that it cuts the roof of your mouth. You’re going to want to shake the container of their homemade dressing and then drench the entire sandwich. Yes, you’ll get messy but it is beyond worth it. It will be the best sandwich of your life. I add a little feta cheese to mine and let me tell you, it is perfection. You can’t go wrong with anything from My Father’s. The pizzas are top tier and the spinach lasagna is another one of my favorite dishes. Come eat here, bring your family, you will have a wonderful memory tied to delicious scents and scrumptious food. Or come alone and try a tables worth of food all for yourself, I’m not judging.

This place is a must have if you’re in the Black Mountain area. The pizza is always amazing but so are the appetizers and salads. On our most recent visit, we arrived 30 min before closing and they still accommodated us. Our server was especially kind and made some local drink recommendations for us. If weather permits, find a spot on the patio. It’s a vibe you don’t want to miss.

Had lunch at My Father’s Pizza & Pasta and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Italian roasted chicken pizza and it was excellent. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the toppings paired perfectly with the sauce and melted cheese. The crust had a great texture — crisp on the outside but still soft enough inside.
We also got the breadsticks, and they were fresh, warm, and perfectly seasoned. Great flavor and a nice complement to the pizza.
Overall, really good food and a spot I’d definitely come back to. If you’re looking for a solid pizza place, this one’s worth checking out.

We ordered a fully loaded pizza with pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and peppers, and it was excellent. The crust had a nice crisp edge, the toppings were generous, and the flavor was rich without feeling heavy.
That said, this restaurant stays very busy. As a result, food preparation can take longer than expected, so takeout may be a better option if you are short on time. Parking can also be challenging depending on the direction you arrive from, though that is largely due to the location rather than the restaurant itself.

Keira was my server and she is as kind as she is beautiful I will surely be coming back to see her. The steak sub was delicious and hugely portioned for the size(don’t get the green peppers on there). Denise absolutely stole the show she was fabulous and very personable.

After driving a long day in the car, we wanted something quick to eat and be able to just relax in the hotel. Hotel staff recommended this place to us, so we decided to give it a try.
Called on a friday night and was told it was going to be an hour and a half for pick up. My husband and I were fine with that because we were unloading and going to take the kids to the pool.
After an hour and a half later, my husband goes to get the food, comes back, and when we opened the box of pizza and breadsticks they were COLD. I looked at my husband and said its cold? And he said “Yeah, when I got there they made a comment and said they were wondering if I was ever coming because it had been done for awhile”. So, I don’t know why they told us 1.5 hours and we follow that to get cold food. A little disappointed in that…
Maybe if we are ever in the area we will try again…just don’t understand what happened there..

The service was second to none! Everyone very polite and joyful! The place is pretty cool as well, nothing sophisticated but very nice. The pizza was delicious as well. Will surely be back to try other dishes.
