Ate there end of September.

Food: ordered a shared pretzel which was good. Nachos cheese not included. Just FYI. I ordered a hot dog but didn’t realize how plain it would be since it was the only thing not beef/pork. No ketchup or mustard FYI. Finally, my husband ordered a soup. Said it was good and hot, but unsure if ordering again. His favorite item was the soda.

Service: not terrible but not the greatest either. Granted there were maybe 2 tables and 2 individuals at the bar and they were about 1 hour before closing.

Atmosphere: was ok. SOME table activities available. Interesting deco.

Overall: would go back if close and wanted a pretzel.

We will be back !! This place is truly a hidden gem was the first time for me but my BF is a regular & I’m so glad he recommended we go!! From the atmosphere to the music to the staff everything here was on point. Owner is so sweet and has a great area set up for kids games and books. There is a pool table separated from the dinning room nice sized bar and lots of seating inside and out. The patio seating is really nice as well has plenty of shade. I had the chicken Jägerschnitzel it might be one of the best things I’ve eaten in my life TBH !! Veggies were cooked to perfection (not mush like I usually end up with) the gravy was perfect and don’t get me started on the sausages my BF ordered on the sausage platter fest. All 3 were cooked right had that snap when you bite in !! Textures and flavors were outta this world good. I not a big fan of trying new things but im truly shocked that a bit of GREAT mustard with some sauerkraut on bread with a good sausage could be such a good pairing. I would NEVER have tried sauerkraut if things weren’t tasting great to begin with and I’m really glad I did open my horizons a bit to some truly authentic German food. Had a really good beer imported from Germany the stiens are huge here as well!! Restrooms were clean and well stocked. I’m not big on eating out at the chain restaurants we tend to see here in US so I’m very happy to find & support a one of a kind spot like this! I’m definitely trying a jalapeno cheese pretzel next time !!

The Octoberfest sampler (sized and priced for 2 people), 1 17oz beer, and 1 large pretzel plus the extra butter, with tax costed $76.45. This is without any tips added in. With 15% tip, it is nearly $90.
I have eaten at many german restaurants in New York and Vegas, so this may not be a fair comparison for anyone that hasn’t tried german food anywhere else.
The food was not good for the price. The best part was the pretzel, which they apparently get from a local bakery. Paying an extra 56 cents for butter felt wrong when the pretzel itself was nearly $13. We got the Octoberfest sampler. The 4/5 of the sausages were soft and juicy, which was great. The schnitzel was good but didn’t come with any cranberry sauce or gravy, which was odd. The in-house saurkraut was poorly fermented and had no tang to it. The french fries were good. The service was fine as well, nothing to complain about.
The biggest issue I had was the price point. For the price, it absolutely is not worth it. It’s priced like Hofbrauhaus without the same quality of food or atmosphere. Hofbrauhaus in Vegas is to die for and well worth the money. This place is more like a pub than a restaurant. I’m glad we tried it because it has so many reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend it nor would we ever come back unless they seriously lowered the prices. Also inside smells weird (I think it might be all the old wood + moisture) so we sat outside, which I’d recommend.

My wife and I ate at the Biergarten for the first time. It was a very good experience. The food was great! We decided to share the Oktoberfest Sampler with a pork schnitzel. We wanted to try this place before our return vacation trip to Germany planned for this summer. We were pleasantly surprised! Definitely returning to this restaurant!!

Kathrin’s Biergarten in Rocklin is a fun place to hang out! They have a nice selection of beer and good food to go with it. The pool table, shuffleboard, and darts provide plenty of entertainment while you’re enjoying your drinks. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Only downside is parking can be tight, especially during busy times, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great local spot for beer and games with friends!

Good sized restaurant with bar and gaming room that also is used for parties. The lemon drop was delicious made with soju, and the food is out of this world.

A must visit Biergarten. I haven’t had food this good, including the famous pork knuckle, since Munich! They have a fantastic selection of beers that I miss from Germany. The sausage varieties were all amazing, with the best pretzels in the US, and a delicous beer cheese sauce. The pork knuckle was tender and a surprise to see in the states. The atmosphere is perfect, cozy, and welcoming. This is such a gem. Everyone should visit here if you’re ever on the west coast.

Stopped in to eat on Saturday 10/18 for lunch and glad we did. We sat outside in the patio which was really nice and were immediately welcomed and given menus. Matthew, our server came right after to get our drink orders and told us about their special. I had the special, Rahmschnitzel with sauce, spaetzle, vegetables and a salad with amazing dressing. My wife had the Sauerkraut Balls with a great dipping sauce and were really, really good! The food and atmosphere is amazing but the most amazing part was our server Matthew! Thank you Matthew and the rest of the staff for a great experience. Can’t wait to eat here again!

My biggest regret for this place was not coming here sooner. This has been on my radar for 6 months but due to work, I haven’t had the time or energy to come here. I came here with no expectations and was blown away at how amazing everything is. The food was amazing, the waitstaff were by far one of the best waitstaff ever had and the atmosphere was fitting. The price might be a bit high, but the food is well worth it. This place definitely earned its rating and I will definitely come back. I’d encourage anyone who loves German food to try this out, especially those who are on the edge of coming here.
