We like Smithfield’s because we usually have good service and good food. Today was a missed opportunity for this business to provide both good service and good food. We ordered to dine in. That was exactly what we told her when she asked. They brought food to go with no utensils or napkins. The chicken usually has good flavor, not today. No flavor. The dip for the chicken was watered down ranch and the container was half full with 1/2 container for 5 pieces of chicken. So after 3 trips back to the counter we got to eat. The customers were nice and it was clean. I doubt we will go back even though we travel through her 2 times a month

Its a must to stop here & taste the staple that i grew up on. If you dnt know by now, always show up early morning & ask for the bag of skins, these aren’t your regular idea skins. All the food here make you go back for multiple rounds

We are so fortunate that the Siler City Smithfield’s BBQ Is a short drive from our home. We enjoyed a late lunch there yesterday. This restaurant consistently serves good southern food, along with big helpings of southern friendliness and charm. The Eastern style (vinegar based) BBQ is excellent, the slaw is perfect, the hush puppies are divine, the chicken fingers are crisp and juicy; even the iced tea is very good.
The employees are courteous and efficient. Someone walks around with pitchers of iced tea to refill your drinks and another person rotates through the restaurant constantly cleaning and refreshing table supplies. I highly recommend!! PS. Their take-out service is just as wonderful with the same excellent quality of food.

Usually a good meal. Today at the drive thru not so much. knew I was in trouble when I looked at the menu board and saw that a barbecue sandwich, fry, & drink was $11 +. But since I was in line and hungry I went ahead and ordered. My order was taken quickly and and was ready as soon as I pull to the window. So high marks for service because the real disappointment was the lack of quality food in my bag! The fries were soft and uncooked. A lukewarm soggy, greasy mess! Should have never been put in a bag! The barbecue sandwich was good, minus the over soaked bun from the excess moisture with the coleslaw mix. Very hard for me to believe I received something like this from Smithfield. I guess the good news is I can choose to eat elsewhere!

Get the chicken!!!! It was the best I’ve ever had! I am an avid fan of chicken in general, specializing in the tender variety lol. And seriously…this chicken was…perfect! From the kind smiles and table service to the old time, cozy diner atmosphere it was just a great experience! I got the Chicken Tender Value Pack and what a value it was! The portion were generous! The 2 tenders on my sandwich were big enough to be half breasts at least. Breaded perfectly, like something you see in ads, for real. Cooked perfectly and so juicy and meaty! Wow. Im still shocked and now I’m hooked…must go back! With that being said, the bbq pork left a little to be desired. It was very chunky but not very tender. The chicken is where its at!

This restaurant is always great to come to, many choices on the menu, but not TOO many, Styrofoam drink cups (my favorite), fantastic Brunswick stew, yummy sweet hush puppies, spicy great BBQ, and crispy chicken, etc. The restaurant plays fun 50s music, and there are lots of seats and tables. The tables were clean and the service was very good. There is also a drive thru. A+++!

First time here. Food is good, but WAY overpriced for a three piece finger and fry. Maybe if it had come with a drink. Not being from NC, we didn’t realize the bbq would be vinegar based, so husband didn’t like the bbq, but liked the sweet slaw and hush puppies. You order at the counter when you go in and have to go ask for refills and sauces, but they do bring the food out to you. Won’t be back cause it’s cheaper a CFA or Zaxbys

Delicious Brunswick stew. our favorite. we add a piece of fried chicken to the order and it’s a great dinner. Brunswick stew has lots of vegetables, very tasty. I like to add their special sauce with apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper flakes to the fried chicken. oh so yummy. Nice ambience with pictures from old movies. owner is wonderful and her staff are very helpful and friendly. Plus they have a 100% health department rating! Really fun evening with friends and good good.
