I hate to even be leaving this review because we enjoyed going here as a regular. But this is just wrong. The refried beans smelt rancid, were grey and tasted foul. My fault for trying it, ruined my appetite. Got a refund, not going back. That’s it, nothing else.

The food was okay. Can’t say it was good. The chips look like they’ve been rewarmed even burnt. The pizza look like it was a frozen Red Baron pizza they look like this been dropped an undercooked. Food on the floor under our table. Not sure what the bathrooms look like because I didn’t want to even go. Not one welcoming from any other two waitresses that served us. My taco salad look more like a half empty bowl. Overall no not my place. On the positive side the outside murals we’re absolutely beautiful.

Just moved here to Alabama and was “interested” in what Mexican food would taste like here. Pleasantly surprised! Hubby is from Texas, so we are accustomed to Tex-Mex flavors. Service was pleasant and quick.

The chips were fresh and crispy. Salsa was good. My husband ordered Shrimp Frajitas. I could not believe my eyes when the plate came out. Nothing but tiny,rubbery over cooked shrimp and onions. Small portion for the price. After eating the Shrimp Frajitas at Mexico Lindo in Oxford,this was pitiful!!!!
I ordered 3 Tamales,rice and a beef taco on the side. One taco was 2.99 and barely had any meat at all in it. The Tamales were good. Would have been better if they were HOT instead of barely warm. The rice was very good and moist.
Service….well,the young man seemed more interested in talking to his friends who wrote listening to some kind of game( was EXTREMELY loud).

Our food was great and the people were very friendly! I had Hawaiian Fajitas which were cooked perfectly and my husband got a shrimp, a chicken and a steak soft taco and they were huge and very good. We also had the queso con carne (cheese dip with ground beef) and it was such a large portion it could’ve have been a meal in itself! I will definitely be back!

Victor was a great waiter, that boy deserves a raise! The food was good, and their bartender makes a tasty top shelf margarita. Simple, but cozy atmosphere. I recommend giving it a go if you’re in the area.

Nacho was bland especially the meats which they gave a lot of not sure if it was meat seem to view me to be more of us soybean base. There was just no flavoring like I expected in the Mexican dish. There is very few nacho chips and a half a slice of thick tomato instead of diced tomatoes like you would expect. you did get the chips and sauce to begin with for free and the chips will supplement the nacho. Definitely not worth it. the staff seem preoccupied with themselves they seem down, not very friendly and the server actually seemed somewhat frustrated And not attentive. asked if we’d like anything like some more water towards the end of the meal when I had a full glass and the other person had over half a glass. Don’t expect lunch special if you walk in there at 3 everybody just seemed somewhat rude and not very happy, even the cashier was like quick to get you out no smile or thank you or even look up at you.looking at the rest of the food pictures I would guess most of the stuff is pretty much the same I would not recommend it there’s plenty of other Mexican restaurants that are good at same price or better. And guacamole look like it was squeezed out of a bag not fresh made.
