OVERVIEW – 4.75
Came here the other day on a promotional offer from the mail.
LOCATION – 4
They have a good location there in on Center Street near Target. The only issue I had was trying to get to the physical location as I was traveling west on Center Street.
PRICE – N/A
I couldn’t judge this category with the free promotional offer, but from what I saw on the menu seemed reasonable.
PRODUCTS/SERVICES – 5
I ordered a Bacon Lettuce Tomato Chicken Finger Sandwich which was rather delicious. I ordered it with a meal so it came with crinkly fries and a soft drink from the Coca-Cola freestyle machine.
POINTER/PERKS – 5
Don’t have many pointers as I have only been to this Zaxby’s this first time. I did see a promotional offer for half priced salads on Tuesdays.
EMPLOYEES – 5
The guy that helped me out on the register was rather nice and patient with me.

If you are looking for a place to get free hot tea than I recommend this Zaxby’s location. The water in the men’s restroom is scalding hot – no matter which way I turned the handle. Perfect for making a nice cup of Earl Grey or Green Jasmine Tea. The restroom smells nice too so I would be completely comfortable sipping some tea and reading a book in there. The rest of the restaurant was clean, staff was nice, and food was quick. Just wish I would have brought my mug so I could have brewed some tea.

We love Zaxby’s, even though we eat it sparingly because of the cost. We generally go there for their Cobb salads, which are amazing, but today I decided to try their loaded chicken bacon ranch fries and I was very glad I did. They were excellent!

Zaxby’s is a slightly above average chicken place. My friend recommended the Kickin Chicken Sandwich and it was okay, not bad, but not great either. They do have good sauce, but I just think that the other chicken places have better quality food than this one. The service was fast and friendly, which was great.

I came here in the drive thru, and I specifically asked what dipping sauce the fried pickles come with (ranch). Upon receiving my food, there was no dipping sauce. Whatever, it’s not the end of the world. But the fried pickles were way over cooked, the breading was burnt and overly crispy, the pickles themselves were dry, and the breading was crumbling right off the pickles.
Zaxbys was my first job when I was 16 and even at that age I would have never served fried pickles that looked like that. Overall the quality of the food has gone way downhill in the last few years. Some of my favorite items—fried mushrooms, onion rings, original buffalo sauce, shakes, some of the salad dressings, etc—are no longer available, prices have gone way up, the quality of the food has gone way down. More often than not the toast is dry from being under the heat lamp too long (when I worked there we weren’t supposed to keep the toast under the lamp for more than 10-15 minutes) to the point where I end up throwing it away. Zaxbys used to be my favorite fast food restaurant, but for the past couple years I’ve much preferred Raising Canes. I’m highly disappointed with Zaxbys these days.

I love Zaxby’s food but this time I waited forever to order and for my food and we were the only ones in. We waited about 20 minutes and I had seen some meals sitting up on the cooks counter (not the counter they sit it on for people to grab) so finally I asked and he handed them to us. I checked the receipt and they had been done for 10 minutes. That’s unacceptable. The food had gotten cold in the meantime. Plus there was dust everywhere like they don’t wipe down.

My boys absolutely love this place! And they scored chocolate chip cookies to go with their chicken dinners to celebrate the first week of school. Aaron was our cashier dude, and he rocks. We really dig all of the scrumptious food options at Zaxby’s.

I used to love the salads at this place, but the last few times I have been I have barely been able to eat most of my salad because of all the disgusting lettuce leaves that they include in my salad. I’m scared of getting food poisoning from eating it. I’m so sad because nice, fresh salads at fast food restaurants are rare to come by these days. I thought Zaxby’s was different from most places, but I guess not. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.
