Sooooo good! We got a riblet and leg quarter mix plate with jambalaya and potato salad. The riblet and chicken were smoked perfectly. The seasoning was also spot on. On Sundays they have a $13.99 deal for all plates which is SUCH a bargain.

This may be the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The lady who took our order was incredibly kind, so much so that it made our day. The food was also fantastic. Insanely high quality and budget friendly. This will be a must stop on every trip to Galveston!

I stopped in to Leo’s Cajun Corner today because I was craving brown beans and cornbread. I ordered a riblet dinner with coleslaw, beans and rice and cornbread. Man, the food was so delicious! The riblets were flavorful, the coleslaw was homemade-peppery and vinegary and the beans had chunks of salty ham and just the right amount of spice! The service was also fantastic! I’ll definitely be back to Leo’s.

I’ve been coming to Leo’s for over 5 years now, I can’t recommend it enough. The staff always recognize me and say hi to me every time I go there. I love their boudin balls, gumbo and riblets. Always friendly services, great food, good prices. A must try if you’re heading to the island.

Came here twice on Saturday and going back again today on Sunday. This place is a jem, the employees are friendly and the food is not only good but reasonably priced. I did prefer the lunch food over breakfast, but I’m going back for the biscuits and gravy. The boudin balls!! Them boudin balls weee amazing. They were not mushy, but perfection. The fish was fried just the way I like it and the potato salad tasted just like my mom’s. Restaurant was clean, but gave good ol small town/ grandma’s house vibes, which I loved. I forgot to mention the cupcakes, the icing is homemade and I’ll be grabbing some more today.

We love Leo’s when we are on the island!!! Today they were out of a lot of meats so after the boudin balls, I got sausage and riblets with potato salad and dirty rice. He asked for shrimp and oysters, potato salad and jambalaya. She said he may get the last of the oysters if they had any at all. Oh my goodness, my sausage was outstanding, the riblet’s and sides were great! He got all shrimp, no oysters and his sides. And then we hear them steadily selling oysters to others behind us! Hmmmmm….we will continue to visit but will get clarification on what’s in stock and out of stock for sure!! Give them a try!

Leo’s Cajun Corner is a true hidden gem! I really appreciate that it’s not corporate-run—you can feel the difference in the atmosphere and the food. It’s authentic Cajun cooking done right.
The boudin balls were amazing—crispy on the outside and packed with flavor on the inside. We were hoping to try the stuffed crab, but they were out this time. No worries though, just gives us another reason to come back!
One thing I want to mention is the lady who helped us—I could tell she may be partially deaf, and I just want to commend her for her kindness and great service. She was attentive, patient, and did a fantastic job.
Great food, great people. We’ll definitely be back!

I can’t count the number of times me and my brothers have eaten here since the 80s. The riblets are hands down my favorite. Everything they serve is authentic Cajun food. Make no mistake, this is truly great food. The prices are very reasonable and the staff makes your visit very comfortable. Try it you won’t regret it, especially if you’re a foodie like myself. Heading there tomorrow, 19 Dec to load up!
