The McCrery Family welcomes you to Tosi’s Italian, a dining experience unlike any other. What our founder, Emil Tosi, started in 1939, continues today, eight decades later. A family tradition, so very important to Emil is evident throughout the Tosi’s culture from the back of-the house to the front-of-the-house. Each day we honor the legacy that Emil created by using his original recipes, techniques and traditions passed down to us by our peers and mentors, all who have served Emil’s credo. How fortunate we are to have worked with some of the best in the culinary industry, a team of people with a strong work ethic, a mindset of dedication and service, all focused on you, our Tosi’s dining friends.

You’re immediately greeted by elegance when you pull in. The free valet parking is a very rare, and very welcoming compliment, which we happily accepted. Everything in this places design is fantastic, even the entry doors feature beautiful carved grape clusters in the wood work. Wow! It was chilly and rainy, but we could still see how wonderful the outdoor seating looked!
That continues in the interior. The interior features beautiful, I’m assuming local artwork and a neat, old-school hunting theme with nicely taxidermed ducks and pheasants on one of the walls. There’s also some cool shotguns neatly displayed.
Now for the service. The food came out somewhat slow. However, they were getting slammed, I’m sure we weren’t the only ones who wanted to eat out on this dreary day. We started off with bread, oil and cheese, as an Italian restaurant should. And it was good! Next we got escargot. It was extremely tender and surprisingly good, yum!
Next I ordered a cup of clam chowder. Again, it was delicous! Hearty and flavorful, with a generous amount of clam meat. And now for the entree: Pollo ala Dijon.
I was absolutely shocked by how amazing it was! The chicken, Goat cheese and Dijon sauce are incredible together! And with the fettuccine? Gosh! It was fantastic! My wife’s gnocchi was really good too. I only tried a biteful, but what I tasted was wonderful!
And lastly, dessert, which was the most generous portion of creme brulee I’ve ever seen! And you guessed it, it was awesome! Everything about this place is wonderful, there WILL be a return!
Cindy used to work here many moons ago. Some of her co-worker still work here. She talked very highly of Tosi’s and it did not disappoint. I had the stuffed pork chop. Cindy had the homemade spinach rolls.
We also got the toasted ravioli for an appetizer. Can’t wait to come back in the fall
Found this restaurant and glad we came. Service was excellent, food was good and atmosphere was very nice. We sat at the “Al Capone table”, allegedly he used to visit the restaurant. Pasta and sauces are made fresh, bread is made next door. This place is definitely worth the visit, we ate in the dining room, but there is also a bar area, and outdoor seating for warmer months.
