We are visiting from California, and stopped here for breakfast and from the second we arrived, we were greeted, seated and order was taken and delived within 15 minutes. They offer a great portion of food, and coffee, our waiter was the greeter, the waiter and the cashier – he was awesome! I had French toast combo plate, my husband had biscuits and gravy combo plate. Highly recommend this great spot!

This unique diner offers a delightful atmosphere and aesthetic. The friendly staff and delicious mimosas make it worth the visit. The Caprese omelette was filling and delicious, while the chicken fried steak was large but well-done. The fresh daily biscuits were excellent. The coffee came in a large soup mug, and the Irish coffee was good. The booths are fixed in place, so it’s not ideal for larger bodies. We recommend it and will return, though my partner might skip the chicken fried steak. I’ll definitely get the Caprese omelette again.

Nice place with great service. We tried the pancakes with eggs and bacon and the chicken fried steak. This was the biggest chicken fried steak I have had in that price range. This tasted pretty good as well and would definitely come back for this. The pancakes were pretty good and fluffy as well. In general they have huge portion sizes, the coffee cup in itself was pretty big, more the size of a soup bowl which may not be the best thing to serve coffee in. Overall a great place and definitely worth the visit.

A Saturday morning out with family. We were looking for a diner. North Star was on our list to try. Parking was a little challenging – worked out. Out wait was short. Restaurant is a big room. Still, it was comfortable. There are booths and tables. It was busy and loud. Menu was wonderful with breakfast and lunch options. Food quality was great. Service was fine. And, prices were OK. I’d come back to the North Star.

Thank you for being a great waitress. I think that was the best service I have ever had when it comes to waitressing. The food did not only taste very good but the portion sizes were huge. I enjoyed this place very much! I also liked how you guys had anime playing on one tv and sonic the hedgehog on the other tv. Unlike most places just play the news or the weather. If we ever come back to Seattle we will try this place out again.

I’m a picky eater but I wanted to try eggs Benedict. This was my first time enjoying poached eggs. The waitress was kind, attentive, and did not hover which was great.
My girlfriend loved the atmosphere and we’ll be sure to visit again. It is tough finding spots worth waking up early to eat. This diner is worthwhile.

Just had breakfast here and really enjoyed their selection of dishes. Had the Big Dipper with their French Toast and it was super tasty! Also tried their chilaquiles got both the red and green sauce and was super impressed! Would 100% be coming back for both the chilaquiles and French toast

Good food, i got the french toast combo and my friend got the pancake combo and both were delicious. The drinks were also really good. Big portions and good prices. Only reason Is a 4 star is because the music was really loud for a diner setting and it gave me a really bad headache

My husband and I enjoy visiting unique restaurants whenever we are either on a business trip or family getaway. We almost always narrow our options down based on good customer reviews which North Star Diner had but we decided to see for ourselves. After circling the block a couple times hunting for parking we walked in and were immediately greeted and shown to our booth a few minutes after. I ordered the red Chilaquiles and coffee to drink. Our son had the kids French toast and my husband opted for the Cowboy benedict. Our food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My husband did have a little mix up with his food but our server took care of that asap! Our server Max was awesome and super friendly which made our dining experience that much better. With the exception of my husband’s main dish boo boo everything else was great and I would’ve left 5 starts all across if it weren’t for that mix up 🙂

I got the Big Dipper with the French toast and it was banging! I would even say that the Big Dipper could feed two people. Definitely recommend. Our waiter was exceptional—super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
I loved the whole space theme. I was just browsing the astronaut wall while I waited for my food.
