Great value for the price! The boiled crab and oysters were really fresh — the crab meat was firm and not mushy at all.

The crawfish tasted like previously frozen, but there was still a wide variety of seafood to choose from. Love the seafood selection here and would definitely come back!

I used to eat here a lot when I was a kid and my parents who are really old school wanted to come here for Christmas for old time sakes. I’m not a huge fan of buffets at all, but I decided to go with them since they’re my family. The staff were nice, but everything looked really outdated. Some of the food was decent at best, but a majority of it was too greasy and salty altogether. Since we ate on Christmas Day, it was $27.99 per person for dinner which is usually higher than the average dinner price ($22.99). Cleanliness could’ve been a bit better too. I’m gonna give them a benefit of the doubt because I didn’t expect much quality from an old school Chinese buffet like this one but at least update it a little bit more since the main audience who loves these types of buffets are getting older.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. They are constantly cleaning and making sure that the buffet and the dining area is clean and welcoming. The waitresses are all very polite and hard-working. The food is surprisingly good for a buffet. As with any place like this, there are going to be dishes that you like and dishes that you don’t. I felt like there were plenty of options that I did enjoy very much. The place is quiet enough to enjoy your dinner without being bombarded with loud noises or obnoxious people. The price is reasonable. $25 for a weekend buffet. Personally, I like the place and will definitely be back. Even the sushi is surprisingly good.

What a unique experience for an Asian buffet. I wasn’t expecting much. It’s a $20 Asian buffet after all. However, there were a few surprises that I thought were really terrific. Before I go into that, the restaurant itself was very clean. They were constantly keeping up with the buffet, which was a little annoying at times to be honest, but I would rather them do that then not be attentive to the food being set out. The food itself was actually really good. That Ginger crab was one of the best things I’ve had in a long time. I would seriously eat that regularly and plan to from now on. Buffet Sushi usually isn’t very good, but I really enjoyed what they had. They had some different offerings than the traditional stuff including some that were done with paper instead of rice. The pork dumplings were really tasty as well as the muscles, which were in a black bean sauce instead of that weird Mayo stuff some places use. Damn, that Ginger crab was so good. I had to mention it again. For $23, tax included, it was definitely well worth it. Even had name brand ice cream at the end. I took off a point because I thought it was a little odd that they charged you at the beginning of the meal before you sat down to eat and because they were a little aggressive when it came to employees keeping up with the buffet, but I still highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back.

My place to go is Jumbo Buffet for authentic Chinese food, I should have driven the 5 miles out of my way to get what I want. The price is outrageous for to go plates and the food is not that great at all. I had a couple of variety of items on my plate and the only thing that was good was the onion fried shrimp and the crab ragoon. How do you mess up sushi, fried rice and noodles at a Chinese place? I won’t be going back, I would prefer to drive to Kenner by taking that risk of hopefully not getting drugged by customers at the buffet and being overpriced as well to get what I want.

I have been going here for years and never experienced a rude and greedy worker in my life. Yesterday as I’m getting ready to walk out w my family thìs lady stops us and asks for her tip n held her hand out. She didn’t even check the table to see if there was a tip or anything but bc she did that I sure did walk right back to the table and grabbed my money back! How do people just openly ask that to customers and do not feel any type of embarrassment. I was in complete shock that any human being in their right mind would ever do that. I will not be returning here.

Large Chinese buffet, we stopped as a large group on the way back from the Bogue. Everyone was starving and they had a good enough variety that everyone could find something they liked, or to go ‘eww’ at. I’m guessing Sundays they go all out for seafood. The snow crab was the only thing missing. I was disappointed that they were in no rush to make more sushi after the kids cleared it out. Didn’t appear to be that much when we arrived and after 30min they had not restocked. Everything else was rotated or freshly cooked. They’ve been open for +10yrs so it was definitely good, especially the salt and pepper head on shrimp. But at $25, they’re a little stingy with the sushi.

Arrived around 8:30, still an hour and a half before closing and there was barely any food on the buffet. Also everything was cold. I would’ve thought for $55 for 2 people to eat they would’ve had a better quality and quantity of food. It’s not like the place wasn’t busy either. Disappointed to say the least

The buffet itself is well kept. The tables are clean and the service is prompt. It is a reasonable price for the variety and good quality of food. They even had my favorite hot and sour soup when we went.
