Lobster Barn Pub & Eatery in Victoria-by-the-Sea is a total PEI must for seafood lovers—right on the pier with killer harbor views! I scarfed down the juiciest lobster roll ever, loaded with fresh chunks and just the right mayo on a soft bun, plus a side of those addictive sweet potato fries. The pan-fried haddock was flaky perfection, and don’t skip the poutine or coconut cheesecake for dessert. Super laid-back vibe inside, friendly staff keeping the cold PEI brews flowing, and that salty sea air? Pure bliss after strolling the cute village shops. Affordable and fresh as it gets—already craving round two!

One of the best seafood places I have tried in PEI in the quaint town of Victoria by the Sea.
I had the Lobster tacos and they were excellent – cooked to perfection with a nice salad to complete the ideal meal. garnished with a PEI potato side salad which was just as scrumptious !
Wife has the haddock and it was tender and full of flavour – loved the fish !
Kids had the tuna poke wantons and this dish stole the show – wantons were light and crispy, tuna was marinated and melted in the mouth with a poke topping and mango salsa – loved it !
Highly recommended and will definitely go back again.

I had the chance to try Lobster Barn in PEI, and overall it was a cozy and comfortable spot with good service. The highlight for me was definitely the lobster poutine – absolutely amazing and worth the trip on its own!
That said, I was disappointed with the scallop basket. I usually like breaded foods, but this just didn’t work for me. The breading really took away from the scallops, and at $32 for just 8, it didn’t feel like good value. Such a great ingredient deserves to shine more on its own.

Fantastic seafood restaurant with an incredibly tasty lobster sandwich — definitely a must-try! My husband had the chicken burger, and it was just as delicious.
The flavors were fresh, portions generous, and the overall experience was great.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving quality seafood!

Great place….we did take out and was ready quickly and efficiently…packed well to stay hot for trip back to our campground. Both had the traditional lobster roll with mayo and celery. Bun was toasted to perfection with right amount of butter to give it flavor but not soggy…Lobster meat was true north Atlantic cold water. Sweet flavor not fishy at all. Right amout of Mayo and celery. Had fries with it…while a 15 minute drive back to our campground the fries were still hot and crisp….they included mega size Heinz Ketchup (being from Pittsburgh this is important). Definitely recommend them. They have a good menu and do offer eat in as well. Which appears to have a wonderful view if you choose to eat in.

Yummy lobster rolls stuffed full of fresh chunks of lobster. The fish and chips and the wharf fries were also delicious. Excellent service, really friendly and fast. The atmosphere was perfect and you can’t beat the setting for a fresh seafood meal.

Atmosphere was great. Beautiful and well thought out design. Friendly service. Now the food. A for effort as the presentation was spot on. The chowder was average it would be better with bigger chunks of seafood, the crab dip was good but not the best we have had, the poutine was fantastic, the chicken sandwich crispy and the potato salad was good.

Food is great. The place looks like an old shack but the inside is modern while keeping a touch of a fisherman’s tools.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food arrived with minimal waiting time. There are a few tables on the patio but the space is quite narrow.
Come visit this place when you happen to be in PEI. It’s worth the visit!
