Honestly, Casa Cubana is a 10/10. The vibe in there is amazing, it legit felt like I was sitting in my abuela’s house. I ordered the churrasco steak with rice and tostones and the food was fantastic. Everything was super flavorful. Also, our server Jonathan was awesome and took great care of us. If you’re thinking about checking this place out, definitely do it.

I tend to go standard my first visit. Caught them just before closing and they were more than happy to whip me up a Cuban Sandwich for the road. I asked for the sandwich only but Jonathan loaded me up on fries too. The Cuban was perfect. Ham and pork were ratioed nicely. The swiss was fully melted and could have been mistalen for mayo. Could have went a touch heavier on the mustard but the pickles made up for it. Sent me packing with some ketchup, a hot sauce and mojo sauce on the side. Nothing special about the sauces but i prefer my sandwich without. All for under $20… not bad

The food here is amazing, hands down the best. From the beef empanadas to the steak with rice and beans, everything we ordered was full of flavor.

The atmosphere is very cultural. Just come open-minded and ready to enjoy it for what it is. The staff is also extremely welcoming and kind.

But truly, the food speaks for itself!

We were visiting the area and were looking for a place near our hotel. So, we just happened upon Casa Cubana, and so glad we did. When I tell you I had the BEST guacamole I’ve ever had!! (The picture is after I had started getting into it.) My only complaint was the chips. My sister had the pork belly. It was seasoned nicely and was very tender. We both had the Havana Sangria it was tasty and strong. 10 out of 10!
The staff was super friendly and had great recommendations. The vibe was nice. You could dance if you liked, the music wasn’t too much. When I’m back in the area I will return with my dancing shoes on.

The piña colada was awesome and so was the food. The churrasco shrimp mofongo was top tier. And Johnathan , our server was awesome! Will return!

I’m not sure what happened to this place. We came at prime lunch time on a Saturday and there were no cars in the lot, making me think it was closed. That should have been my sign to choose another place. However, we went in and sat down…the only 5 people in the restaurant. We ordered the food and I honestly don’t know what to say. The Cuban bread was some weird kind of hoagie garlic bread, not pan cubano as we were expecting. The stuffed potato balls were covered in a cinnamon sugar, which again, was completely unexpected for a savory dish. One person got their entree and it just looked sad. 10 minutes later (after the first person had nearly finished their plate) the next plate came out, and pretty much continued that way every ten minutes. I might understand that if it were a packed house, but we were the ONLY people there for the hour and a half we sat. The food was just awful. The steaks were tough and chewy despite us ordering them med rare, the trifongo was just awkward, and overall just not great. Especially for the price. I was so excited to bring my family here because we loved this place in the past!! But something definitely changed and even the menu was completely different. No clue what happened but we will absolutely never return. And it’s a shame too since we have so few Cuban places in the Raleigh area. Now we have one less in my book.

Unbelievable! Came from so far to find this place close but with open signs. It looks deserted and strangely abandoned as though everyone vanished. I dont understand terrible as they are announcing themselves as opened until 11 p.m.
I honestly wouldn’t be so upset if it wasn’t for the fact that I came from an hour away.

We took a group of students there for a private activity and had a great time.
The owners were very helpful and awesome hosts.
The food was delicious and our students had lots of fun during their dancing class.
We’ll do it again!

Me and my family were very excited about this restaurant. But unfortunately excitement turned into disappointment!! We sat for almost 3 hours and never had any food. Our order was taken but apparently we fell through the cracks because of a packed house, and I guess a large party! Our waitress was nice, but still no food for us! Everyone else there ate and enjoyed their Valentines day!! So if you have more than 4 don’t walk through the door!! You’ll never be served….especially on a holiday or special occasion!! And, the manager didn’t even as much as come to our table to try and fix the problem!!

at casa cubana i feel like family . when you walk in you will be greeted with a smile and immediately feel the welcoming and friendly atmosphere . the employees are attentive , kind , and ready to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time . whether you need lime for your water , ketchup for your fries , a chair pulled up for your purse , you will be sure to get what you need and often without even having to say a word . i asked about something i saw on the menu online ( the vegetable platter ) , because i didnt see it on the menu in the restaurant . the waiter said that it can be made for me and when the food came out i was so surprised . it was a huge platter of plantains , tostones , fries , empanadas , rice , mozzarella sticks , veggies , ketchup for my fries , a cilantro type of sauce and the craziest thing was a big sparkler in the platter of food . it was such beautiful presentation and the food was as good as it looked . everything was delicious and id never had plantains , tostones , or empanadas and i loved it all . i was not expecting the empanada filling i thought it was going to be potato and cheese but i think it was guava and cheese and it was AMAZING . i had to get two to go boxes to take home all my food and i will enjoy my leftovers for the next few days . thank you casa cubana for the best restaurant experience ive ever had .

edit : also , they have the best salsa and guacamole ever . i loved the vegetable platter so much that i forgot to say that .
