We visited Pizza Inn around 5pm and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, and the food on the buffet was fresh, hot, and well stocked. The staff was so nice and even asked if we had any special pizza requests—which we really appreciated.
We especially enjoyed some of the different options like the loaded baked potato pizza and the cherry dessert pizza. Everything was tasty, and the friendly service made it even better. Well definitely return if we are ever in the Carlsbad area again.

We stopped for a quick.lunch. It was early afternoon so in between rush times. The pizza on the deck had all been there a while. They were fairly cold.
Salad bar was fresh and had quite a bit for a small place. The pasta bar was similar to the pizza, needed refreshing.
Once new pizzas came out they were tasty and hot. I do understand how buffets cannot throw too much away. It was a fair meal at an outstanding price.
The star of the show was our server. He was prompt, friendly, and was busy the whole time we were there. Bravo to our older workers…the only ones who seem to have the customer service gene.

We were at this location at approximately 5 pm. Their were 2 tables in use. Sign says to wait for seating. We waited about 10 min before a lady came to seat us and she handed us our menus and sit down. It was another 10 min before she took our drink order. After another 10 min, we were able to place our order. From the time we ordered until the food was brought to the table, was over 45 min. When the pizza arrived, it was dried, overcooked, and lacked any pizza sauce. Many patrons that came in after us placed their order online, because they could not be served. We did observe on young lady that was working there standing around not doing a thing when patrons entered the store. Additionally, we found the table to be dirty with dead flies on the table when we moved the paper towels. I would stay away from this pizza hut.

Walked in at 8:30 and as soon as we walked in the lady in the front told us they were not putting any more pizza in so we couldn’t eat there. We were under the impression you guys do not close until 9:30. The lady with glasses was very rude when informing us.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I travel alot. So I get to see how other Pizza Inns and restaurants in general run.
I’m not here to start a case on Pizza Inn in Court.
I just want you fine people of the world, to know the truth about this one.
Work in, everything, and I mean everything is disgusting. Food, plates, drinks, napkins, trash everywhere. Every table almost, floor, etc.
Workers are all huddled up at the table to the right of the walk in door, chatting and having a good time.
The ONLY worker I seen trying was a younger girl (20 years old or so) Tattoo on her left arm. PIZZA Inn Team atleast she’s trying!
My server Lori, apparently was just posted up big chilling.
Anyways, everything was nasty. The food on the buffet table, 90% was sitting out dry lamp cooked to hell. Something that looks like it wad be served in the deeps depths of Hades itself. The oven cooked it. The 1.5hrs under the heat lamp really turned it into the Suns Crust.
Photos attached, look. I get it. It’s food services. But if you have only 2 tables of eaters, and 12 tables of nasty trash, clean…..your……tables.
$16 for a adult buffet, not cheap but not expensive, but after a hard days work, we would love to sit in a clean area.

Friendly Staff, just get you a plate a serve, the only thing is that the bar was a little messy (because of the people) not cleaning after them, but the pizza and salad was fresh that is what i had..

Place is clean staff if friendly but it seems like when I showed up to eat all the pizza had been sitting out all day so it was like eat what you can. Hopefully next time is better

Really amazing little pizza shack, went in with my fiance today 04.24.21. This was our first time eating here. Its like an all you can eat pizza shack. You come in and pick a spot to sit, you pay after your meal. They had inside dining, there was a couple of pizzas that were made earlier it seems they were a little dry. While we were there they made a fresh batch of Pepperoni & Jalapeño pizza, Sausage w/ green chile deep dish pizza, cinnamon sticks, cinnamon filled little pockets. They also have a salad and pasta bar w/ toppings & dressings. Really great place! We were checked on periodically by which I believe to be the manager. She was very helpful & polite & invited us back. We will be returning.
