Great restaurant with a cool vibe and beautiful decor. Indoor and outdoor seating is nice. We had a nice healthy “ish” lunch. Good array of choices on the menu. The guacamole was really good but not over the top as the menu lead us to believe, it was a bit bland, but was fresh. On the way out, there is a cookie/coffee stand that didn’t disappoint. Huge variety to choose from.

I reviewed Summer House before, but after my most recent experience, I felt the need to do it again. We sat at the bar for dinner. The staff was so kind and fun. Even the table staff when they would come up for drinks were fun to chat with. When we ordered food, I was impressed they inquired about food allergies. My chicken was so tasty and cooked beautifully. My spouse had their burger which was surprisingly great. Definitely upgrade to the truffle fries. They are wicked good. A+ for great service & food. Don’t forget to get a cookie on the way out. Yummy!!!

Went originally on a Sunday to go to the George, but it was packed for football. The hostess suggested we go to Summer House and upon walking in we became super excited over their insane cookie bar. We were seated very quickly on a Sunday after 12p on their lovely patio. It was well shaded and the misters kept it very cool and comfortable and I am always hot, but it was perfect for me. We tried several things: the potato salad deviled eggs, cheesy dream Puffs, Belgian waffles with strawberries and a scrambled egg and crispy bacon on the side, and my friend had the crispy chicken sandwich for their entrée. Everything was very, very tasty, service was excellent and we loved the patio. We had not seen each other for a while and talked at length and did not feel rushed. We hit the cookie bar and I bought several cookies to bring to work. Monday my coworkers destroyed those cookies and someone from another department snuck into our department twice to take some. Every single cookie was exceptional and they were the talk of the town that day! I can’t wait to go try some more. The cookie bar was the highlight for me. I loved the Dubai Chocolate. I am not sure if one coworker breathed once while swallowing a traditional chocolate chip cookie nearly whole, and they are quite large. The lemon, peanut butter, wild Thai banana, and raspberry cheese cookies were all winners. I cannot recommend the cookie bar enough. Summer House was a great time for brunch and dessert and we will definitely visit again!

We opted to be seated on the patio in a peaceful setting nearby a water fountain. They offer a varied menu with options from salads to tacos, a burger and a variety of chicken choices. I decided to go healthy and ordered the herbed chicken breast paillard that comes with an arugula salad. Squeezed some lemon juice over the salad and chicken and it was delish! Will definitely return soon to explore the many other menu options.

Our first time dining at the Summer House. Atmosphere is amazing! Our group ordered a number of different entrees: chicken sandwich/fries, ribs, pizza, fish tacos. The entrees were OK – disappointed that they were not a wow. . .the atmosphere and price create the illusion of a fine dining experience, not so much. Our server struggled throughout the service. A total no go were the shoestring fries, a half a plate of them with the chicken sandwich. No flavor and cold by the time they are served – suggest changing to another type of fry. We know you can do better!

Cool spot with great pastries inside of the Durango Casino. But for some reason, these folks refuse to heat up anything that you order to go – which is really really annoying because they have a full kitchen right next to the area where you order the food so it could easily be done. All of their food – pastries, cookies, desserts would be a little bit better when heated up properly – everybody knows that – they should not be so difficult and install a little oven to make it better for everybody that goes there – please step up your game!! I am sure that their overall takeout business would also increase dramatically!! Cold or room temperature chocolate chip cookies and brownies – c’mon Summer House – you can do better!!!

Wanted to like it, ambience seems nice, however with the dog barking inside the restaurant, people face timing their friends on speaker, the waitress never asked if we wanted anything to drink, staff having issues nearby us, dead fly behind our booth, and just the overall attention to details here… Hopefully it can improve. Food is pretty good, just don’t get the fries unless you like them super tiny.

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad with side of fries. Salad was $37 and when they handed it to me I thought it was a joke. It was so small it looked ridiculous. The fries were over done with no flavor or texture. Been a couple of times because I love the Durango and although it’s very pretty to be sat in, I’ve never been impressed with the food.
