We order biryani’s and idli , idli was dry and no good taste is sambhar, my son liked chicken biryani but it’s also so so in taste. We went Saturday night 8 pm, no one was eating in the restaurant. Will not ho back again. I have doubt, if I got fresh food.

This informal Indian restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a home cooked meal in a homey setting. Previous reviews complain about the informal nature of the establishment but that’s what makes it feel like it’s back home. Each dish from the appetizers to the entrees were spicy and full of flavor. I’m very picky and I had no complaints. The garlic naan is extremely good and you know it’s authentic because of the sliced garlic cloves buried in it. 5/5 will be back to support this small business.

We drove from Evanston (45 min away) and it was worth the drive. The best food and the best service. 1000/10 recommend this place. Our favorite dishes were tava fish fry and chat pata chicken. We will definitely come back to this restaurant again. Top class service and food. I’ve included photos of the gosh Karahi and chicken curry we also ordered that was also really delicious.

Best Buffet in the town I would say, visited this place 2 months before and after a while stopped today for lunch, whole ambiance was changed with new pleasant atmosphere & food. They have renovated this place with new flooring and decors, looks so good. My kids liked the cutlet, rotis & moose as well. Hopefully they should maintain this as many restaurant miss to do this.

Service is friendly, very personal and accommodating. But lets dive into the food: omg! We had the Paneer Pakora ( because we were wary of ordering something that might end up very spicy), and when it came it needed to be spiced up so we ordered a sauce to dip it in! It was a great choice. But when u come, i suggest you try the chilli paneer. And then we got the desi mango chicken curry and the goat kerala curry. The mango curry was the absolute delicious sweet curry and something ive never had. Another great choice. The kerala was soo creamy and the goat was soft and not gamey at all. We had all these with their chicken biryani and garlic naan. Omg you guys need to come try this place out. Promise, you will have a great meal!

We had lunch buffet today. There were good options for veg eaters. Posting pics of vegetarian items here. I was waiting at my table for my wife to come out of restroom and then take buffet together. Somehow the one of the servers thought I was expecting the food to be served so he came to me to tell me that I have to go there and take food. I explained him that I am waiting for my wife to come but I don’t think he understood. Also I think he was having hard time communicating in English.
One thing looked weird to me was all the servers stood looking at people to who were dining. I felt awkward. I was expecting them to be focused on filling up the food and backfilling utensils. Name tags of each food was not properly readable.
Anyway we had very good lunch. Please try all South Indian dishes here.

Amazing south indian food place. We went here for Dosa night which happens every Tuesdays and Thursdays. They had so many south indian dishes on the menu like idli, 4-5 types chutneys, 5-7 type uttapam, 3 desserts, noodles, and 10-15 types dosas ( yes you read it correct…they have great varieties in dosas). I particularly liked paneer tikka dosa and ghee dosa. I didn’t like the desserts though. But other than that everything tasted fantastic!

The chicken biryani is delicious. Make sure to order the family platter because they give you a lot (enough to feed 4 people). The samosas were also some of the best I have had. The owner was super nice and gave us free gager ka halwa which we really appreciated. Will be visiting again in the future.
