I was told by my neighbor about this restaurant and he talks about it all the time so I was in the area and decided that I would stop in and give them a try. But I didn’t actually go in the dining room I went to the drive through. They have a very big menu to choose from so I was kind of skeptical about what I was going to eat although I love chicken but I also saw that they serve gizzard so I tried those . I don’t know if that was my best decision because they were so good I began to wonder if the rest of the food tastes the same and if the chicken tastes like the gizzards I’m a customer for life. As of right now I’m anxious to go back and I’m trying to contain myself because they were the best gizzards that I had ever eaten and now I know why my neighbor speaks so highly of this restaurant.

I’m sooooo disappointed about the chicken I received today at this place. I ordered hot chicken wings, 2pc dark chicken, large okra with 5 peppers. All of it was nasty. I have never gotten such bad tasting wings. I’m requesting a refund for this order. I paid $27
for some horrible tasting foods. The person that ordered the 2pc dark through it out the window because of the taste. Please get at me regarding a refund or a new fresh order. Not happy with you guys at this time.

Says They’re Open Close The Doors To The Inside. And Act Like They Didn’t Want Us To Come Inside To Eat. If You Want To Be Drive Through Only Put A Sign Up On Your Door. Don’t Ask Me To Run Your Business For You. That’s Not My Job As A Customer. Learn To Communicate And Not Catch An Attitude Because You Want To Be Different At Your Location. Post A Sign On Your Doors That You Don’t Want Customers To Come In. Every Other Lucis Chicken Has Room For Customers To Come Inside.

Overall good food & prices – although they provide No Dipping Sauces – except hot sauce.
Rudeness: sometimes the staff there will talk to each other – and speak put-down comments regarding certain customers dining inside – loud enough where the other customers in the restaurant can hear it … although the older men who work there are respectful fortunately, and don’t make any rude & negative comments.

Been here a few times now going through the drive thru and I think it’s a good spot. I really like their fried rice. Their chicken tastes good but would benefit from some kind if sauce that wasn’t just ketchup packets. Maybe offer a gravy or hot sauce or some kind. So basically, for now I would recommend patrons have a sauce of their own to use.
Haven’t tried the whole menu but I will be trying more and more items soon.

The chicken here is really good. They make it fresh, so you might have to wait a bit. The only thing I didn’t love was the fried rice. It was okay, but not as amazing as the chicken. I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

Visited this location to get some food for my grandma. I ordered the combo rice(chicken & shrimp) which included an egg roll & ordered the 2 pc Fried Catfish w/ fried okra & onion rings+ drink. All of this totaled to be $14 which is good in my book. The food was hot and was seasoned decent. I only took a piece of fish to try and it was okay. Drive thru time wasn’t bad at all either.

I always get the fried chicken, best fried next to my Mom’s.. I usually don’t eat the skin on fried chicken, but I eat it from Luci’s it’s so seasoned and the chicken is always hot and juicy. I’ve got to try the fried fish soon it looks so delicious

Ordered the five piece mixed meal ($6.69) with two sides (mashed potatoes and green beans) and was not disappointed. The ordering process could have been a bit smoother, but I think that was more an issue with the ordering machine.
The chicken pieces was big and tender. The sides were not overly seasoned (could’ve used a bit more pepper imo) and not swimming in salt.
Would order again to not spend an arm and a leg (pun intended) on good, local chicken in the neighborhood.

Great customer service! I was getting my oil change (quick shout out to champions xpress lube) and didn’t have a car to go into drive through. They made an exception for me and let me order in the diner as well as let me eat inside.
I ordered the catfish nuggets with okra, mash potatoes, and a 2 pcs dark the food was hot and fresh! They serving size was plenty! They aren’t stingy lol it was a big plus in quantity and flavor! I highly recommend coming here!
