We strive to create a family friendly environment with a focus on fresh food, quality ingredients and exemplary service. Celebrating over 30 years of business has allowed our Pepper Posse team to create unique food experiences using fresh, healthy ingredients in a made to order scratch kitchen. While fajitas remain a local favorite, items like our Summer Salmon Salad with fresh watermelon, oranges, pineapple, and salmon over a bed of greens provide refreshing options. We know rice and beans are a must for Mexican Food but, we like to change things up with offerings of squash/zucchini, tortilla soup, and Key West veggies as optional sides

We had Victoria as our server. She was absolutely amazing! We had a party of 25 and she was so generous, patient, kind and met all of our needs. She was wonderful and we loved her! If you go to Jalapeño Tree I highly suggest requesting Victoria if available. Food was great, service was great and made a great atmosphere for family. Thank you Victoria for a wonderful service!

I loved the chicken enchiladas. It was my favorite. Skinny margaritas were better than regular margaritas. Not a fan of the enchilada sauce needs more tomatoe flavor for my taste and the chili lime vinaigrette was a bit overwhelming. Presentation was great and served was overall very good.

I ordered a bowl of the tortilla soup! Well besides it being a mess, the waitress brought it out it appeared to be spilled out before she brought it out! Soup all over the bowl! And nothing but liquid! I ask her about it and she replied it was probably just the bottom of the soup! Really! She didn’t offer any help! Service was poor! We have eaten there many times! This was terrible! We paid for our food! I should have ask for the mgr!!

I eat at Jalapeno Tree restaurants regularly, and the location in Nacogdoches was the best I’ve had. Despite them being quite busy, we got great service from our server Noah, and all of the staff were kind and helpful. We had a great experience.

Food is usually good. We haven’t had a bad waitstaff experience in a while. The hostess station…. incompetent. I have no doubt it’s not their fault they have no proper training- that’s a managerial issue. Don’t get me started on that. Should’ve NEVER demoted that sweet lady from manager to waitress. NEVER.

I needed the taco salad to go and wouldn’t eat it until later. They packaged it in a way that the shell wouldn’t get soggy! The best taco salad I’ve ever had!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I ordered the beef fajita nachos, but what I received was beyond disappointing. They came in a pizza box with only 9 chips—that’s all the nachos consisted of! The portion size and presentation were a joke. I will never eat here again. Extremely disappointed.

The meal was good and our service was great. It was clear they were training new staff and busy, but we got through the meal without any problems. If you look close, you can find our waiter, Kaleb, in the pictures. He did a great job!
