Finn’s Harborside on Water Street in East Greenwich remains a local favorite, and it’s great to see them open again after the fire. While the full menu has not yet returned—items like a whole lobster are still unavailable—they do offer a decent selection of dishes to choose from, and the quality of the food continues to be very good.
The restaurant is currently smaller than before, as they are still in the process of rebuilding and expanding. At this time, there is no outdoor deck or seating area, which is something I definitely miss and hope to see return in the future.
That said, the atmosphere is still welcoming, and it’s clear they’re working hard to bring everything back better than ever. I’m looking forward to seeing the full menu and outdoor space return once construction is complete. The seafood was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the homemade pasta with clams was amazing—definitely the highlight of my meal. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food, the setting, and the overall experience made it worth it for me.

Love this local bar and restaurant on the water in east greenwich. Outdoor and indoor seating and fun bars with live music. So fun and great views of the boats, marina and bay! Special shout out to Kevin H for the talented live entertainment. Food is really good and the bar and staff do a great job. Recommend the smoked wings and steak tacos. Sarah makes best martinis too. Enjoy the view. They also have Keno here for betting on your favorite numbers. Plenty of parking too, which makes it easy.

Met friends there for Gal’s Night Out. We lucked out as they offered certain $8.00 martinis and half-priced appetizers. The espresso martinis were perfect and the Coconut Shrimp and Hot Honey Flatbread were very good. The Chocolate Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream was so delicious. Don’t go without ordering it. Plus our server was excellent. I am so glad they have reopened after the fire and look forward to many more evenings there.

I’ve been a few times and really love the atmosphere. Last time I went, I ate by myself on the deck area and enjoyed the relaxing view.
The server was so nice and helpful with my order and the food was absolutely delicious.
For my appetizer, I had a spicy shrimp plate and New England clam chowder. For my dinner, I had a really tasty salmon, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. And for dessert, I had a lemon cake that was perfect!
They also have an easy to find parking lot across the street.

This was my second time enjoying this place. First time I had fish and chips. And I so wanted to come back to Finn’s to have their incredible mouthwatering lobster mac and cheese on my visit to Rhode Island. It was worth the wait !!!

Came here on a rainy day for some chowder and clam cakes. Was not disappointed.
Little necks were delicious; broth was very flavorful.
Stuffies were really good. The little bit of chorizo really made them pop.
New England chowder was rich and creamy with plenty of clam meat and just the right consistency. I tried a small cup of the Rhode Island chowder and dang was it good. Definitely ordering that next time.

Meal went great with the scenery. Being right on the water was great.

The best thing about Finn’s Harborside is absolutely the view; you can’t beat enjoying a meal overlooking Narragansett Bay.
The food is decent, with a solid menu of seafood and meats—the New England Clam Chowder is a particular standout. To top it off, our server was excellent. She checked in just enough to be helpful without being bothersome, but was always nearby if we needed anything. Go for the food, stay for the view

We were dropping a friend off of in the area and thought we would try this place out. The chowders were really good. But the clam cakes for a little strange. They were more of a real cake. We thought maybe it would have more meat in it but it was more bread. That’s fine it was really good. Parking was across the street and free.

I came here to meet a friend for happy hour. This is a great place that is right on the water in the harbor. Very relaxing environment. Service was very good and so were the appetizers we ordered. I would definitely recommend this bar for happy hour and the restaurant would be great for a date or family gathering.
