I ordered a hot meal and the natural sorrel juice, and everything was flavorful and satisfying. The food was hearty, well-seasoned, and felt like a true homemade Caribbean plate. The sorrel juice was refreshing, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with the meal. Portions were generous, and the experience felt authentic and comforting. I would definitely return to try more dishes.

I ordered an oxtail entrée from Caribbean Sunshine Bakery, and according to the menu description it clearly says the meal is served with rice & peas or white rice, steamed veggies or salad, fried plantains, and dumpling. However, I received absolutely none of that, just a small portion of oxtails by themselves. Which was spilling everywhere.
When I called the restaurant, the lady on the phone tried to argue with me and claimed I needed to select the sides, even though there was no option anywhere to do so. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, she told me I would have to purchase the sides separately, which makes no sense since they’re listed as part of the entrée.
The oxtails themselves tasted good, but the service was awful and completely unprofessional. DoorDash only refunded me $3.33, which doesn’t come close to fixing the issue.
I will never order from this place again. Terrible communication and zero accountability.

I ordered the oxtail plate and this was what I got. I’ve never had boiled dumpling with oxtail at a restaurant but I wasn’t mad at it.

The prices here are great and they have many different options for patties! I did like the chicken and beef ones better from their competitor though, as I thought the flavor could’ve been better. I would stop by here to try the other ones again!

Absolutely love this place. Nice people buy from there and nice people work there. Food is fantastic, huge drink selection, they sell bread as well, and have a nice dessert selection as well. My favorite is the curry shrimp and curry chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, a mild beef patty, and cream soda.

I had high hopes for this place, but the service was disappointing. I waited over 30 minutes for a simple order of oxtail, patties, and a salad while at least five other people who ordered after me — some with the exact same items — were served first. It was frustrating to feel completely disregarded as a paying customer. Whether it was poor organization or favoritism, it left a bad impression. No food is worth feeling unwelcome. I won’t be back.

Today the cashier was by far the WORST cashier ever having to deal with. My coworker and I were getting breakfast before heading out to work, having to wait 30 minutes for the my order to finally arrive. Even after when 4 people who had ordered their food AFTER me, RECEIVED THEIRS. MEANWHILE I STILL WAITED. I’ll be recommending other people to never do business here. Because there are far more better places that offer better service, and who don’t take pleasure into wasting people’s time.
