We ordered the special, and tacos. Both were amazing. Really great food, service and atmosphere was perfect. We will be back nice to fine a hometown place that has great food and service.
Thank you China for making us a regular.
It was a Tuesday, and they offer “Taco Tuesday” so I tried three of their specialty tacos, buffalo fried chicken, Irish, and shawarma. All were great but the Irish was incredible! My girlfriend got the shawarma chicken wrap and said that was really good as well. For desert they offered a fried cheesecake. It was incredible but wasn’t a fan of the ends as it was basically cheese cake filling in a tofu wrap, wish they used a Asian spring roll wrap as they are less than half as thick or some type of batter. The ends just had no flavor just hard crunch.
All in all a great refreshing take on food unique and different that I’ve seen.
Thanks for a good meal and unique experience!
Our waitress comes and says she has our drinks coming up and we put our order in. We then realize, as more ppl walk in and due to where they seated us (we could see and hear just about everything) that it was graduation night and they had a ton of big party reservations ontop of people walking in wanting to be seated.
The staff’s resourcefulness and quick on the feet thinking when it cake to trying to accommodate walk ins on top of the reservations. Granted there were some who were turned away, but the way the staff collaborated and “think tanked” was pretty cool to see just because it showed team work.
We ordered bacon wrapped asparagus, crunchy potato balls, fried) pop pickle spears and the queso with beef, espresso martini and a modelo. The drinks were good, the food was decent. The crunchy potato balls were ok, they tasted like there is sage or poultry seasoning used, it was like eating a Thanksgiving hashbrown ball.
The pickle spears were the least favorite, didnt have tons of season other than what was on the breading which we believe is seasoned bread crumbs but ♀️
The chips and queso and beef were ok too. The queso wasnt really quesoee.
The bacon wrapped asparagus…10/10 highly recommend…chefs kiss
The ranch was good.
The inside is kind of small but they have outside seating as well. Its obviously a popular place because everyone was coming in, so clearly its a highly liked/frequented place.
For Ionia, I would highly recommended it as a place to visit, probably one of the better restaurants in Ionia.
