I went to Olivea to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. The service was very good. My cousin did not get a dessert, but they put a candle on top of the delicious crème brûlée that we ordered. The food was delicious. I had the special of the day, a chicken and corn soup, and burger. The burger was topped with caramelized onions, cheese, picles, just delicious. There is parking near by.

Fabulous way to end our tour of Queens and visit to Kingston. The restaurant was intimate & warm. The service was friendly & quick as we only had a short time to have lunch. We overlooked a farmers market in the square beside the restaurant which was picturesque. Lunch was delicious. The starter home made bread with balsamic & oil was delightful. Fresh, warm, soft ~ melt in your mouth. I enjoyed the fig, pine nut chicken salad and my daughter had the chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed them very much & the ambiance. It was the perfect finishing touch to a beautiful day in Kingston.

Also, I forgot to take a picture of the dish but I think it’s called “Roasted Squid” – best calamari I’ve ever have 100/10.

This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. We waited at least an hour and 15 minutes for our food. We followed up several times during the wait, but no one seemed to care. The service was awful, and the staff were inattentive.
The food itself was mediocre and definitely not worth the price, especially considering the portion sizes. Just look at their so-called Caesar salad

Great service! The seafood linguini was amazing. Oysters were just okay. The calamari and steak were a bit salty in some bites, maybe the seasoning wasn’t even. But overall, super happy that we got a table so quickly on a Saturday night without reservation

It was spectacular! Probably the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to.
The appetizers, the main and the dessert were awesome! The complementary olive oil and bread they brought us was heavenly. The Pinot Grigio was so crisp and just out of this world. Our server Montana made it a great dining experience for us. We asked many questions and she was attentive, patient and kind throughout the evening.
Will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends.

NYE dinner was fantastic! Will be back for the grilled squid again. Atmosphere was lovely and not loud. Only comment would be to have servers familiar with menu items so if someone has a question they can answer or get the answer. Loved the food!

This is my favourite restaurant in the whole world! When I went to school in Kingston my family and I would go to eat here every chance we got. Now that I’ve left Kingston I still find every chance I can to come and eat at Olivea. In particular I absolutely adore the caeser salad, the carpaccio, the spicy aglio olio with steak and their cosmopolitan! The ambiance inside this restaurant is perfectly curated, with the comfiest seats I’ve seen and a million different beautiful things to look at while you dine. I will forever rave about this restaurant and suggest it to anyone who will listen. Not to mention I always enjoy the service that I receive no matter the occasion. I highly highly recommend this restaurant 🙂

One of the best Italian meals I’ve experienced, better than some DOP designated restaurants; the service was excellent, the Gnocchi with beef cheek ragu was heavenly and the bartender was more of a spirits sommelier the way she mixed drinks. Amazing overall experience!
