I visited Amelie’s for the first time and was charmed by the Rock Hill location’s decor and ambiance. The pastries were delicious, and I also enjoyed my half spicy chicken salad and a cup of chicken pot pie soup. The meal was good but not outstanding. I imagine most people visit for the treats more so than the deli offerings, and I certainly enjoyed the sweets more! Service was excellent.

Stopped by Amelie just five minutes before closing, and they still graciously served me their crème brûlée — which turned out to be absolute stunner. The caramelized sugar top had that perfect glass-like crack, and the custard underneath was silky, rich, and beautifully balanced without being overly sweet. Even at the end of the day, it tasted incredibly fresh. Exceptional dessert and warm service!

Give this cafe a shot. They have many branches and I like this one too. Amazing desert options and a good variety too. Nice options to eat too for food. Overall a great experience and a must try the almond croissant which they might not have at all stores but if you do then please try it.

Try latte options too.
Overall an amazing place to hangout and have a conversation.

My wife and I have been coming to Amelie’s in Rock Hill for at least five years—pretty much ever since this location opened—and it has become an absolute staple for us. No matter what kind of day we’re having, stepping into Amelie’s always feels like a treat.

The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of character, but what really keeps bringing us back is the consistently great food and genuinely friendly customer service. You can tell the team here takes pride in what they do.

We have our go-to favorites—the leek soup, the fresh salads, and the sandwiches—and they never disappoint. Everything is always flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with care. In fact, the food looks so good that my wife always has to snap a picture before taking the first bite. (I even grabbed a picture of her taking a picture this time because the dishes were just that gorgeous!)

Amelie’s isn’t just a bakery to us anymore; it’s part of our routine, a place we’re always happy to recommend, and one of the best businesses in Rock Hill. If you’re looking for a delicious meal, warm atmosphere, and great service, you can’t go wrong here.

Highly recommend—five years strong and still our favorite spot!

First time to the Rock Hill Main Street area. Nice place to hang out with cute little shops and old town atmosphere. Among several coffee shops we stopped at Amélie’s for a bite and a sweet treat. It was worthy. Appealing to young and not so young with areas to plug in and to relax. Food was despite the tomato bisque having too much pepper for my taste. Ah! But the desserts…. Worth dying for. I had to take some more to go. Not to be boomer, but someone should make sure that the silverware is 100% clean.

This place is awesome. The pastries are delicious. The sandwiches are fantastic. Customer service is also awesome, especially if you see Sky. From the bottom of my heart, she really is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I lucked out by living around the corner.

What a delightful place! Quirky yet elegantly decorated. In an old bank. Unfortunately there is only 1 person to take your order and it seems like everyone in line had questions. The food came out pretty quick and was very good. The bacon was amazing. The dark roast is pretty strong. The strawberry something lemonade was really sweet.

I’m really glad we don’t live closer as I would be here all the time trying all the pastries.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and she found this place so we checked it out. We got pastries, coffee and some food. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting, the food was phenomenal, and the pastries were to die for and the prices are pretty reasonable for what you receive. Definitely our new favorite cafe!!
