Food is very typical Mexican. Good not incredible Mexican not like some. Very large lunch portions. Mixed hot salsa with mild for the right pop. Enchilada sauce was a sweet red. Poblano was a little bland as was the Taco meat. Fajitas were seasoned well and a ton of them! Margarita was average. Would return for sure. Good service!

We were there at lunch time on a Monday, so I don’t know if that made a difference, but the enchiladas and margaritas were fantastic! Service was excellent. They didn’t appear to be very busy, but it’s a fairly large building and there were several occupied tables spread throughout. Very good atmosphere. We didn’t have any kids with us, but I think it would be very family friendly.

It’s a 3.5… don’t order the steak unless you like beef jerky.. everything else is amazing. Margaritas are top notch! I ordered the steak jalisco. Beef came 1/8 thick on a scolding hot plate. Sent it back, told them I want it rare, it came back well done and taste like rubber. Wouldn’t discount my meal. Chicken quesadillas I ordered were amazing, shrimp, queso were amazing. Just don’t order steak!

Restaurant was clean and service was very good. Food was good and arrived hot and fresh. The prices seemed reasonable for the food portions and there is a good deal of options available on the menu. I ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas and this was the first time I received a clean plate for “assembly” Had there been more than 2 people at the table, this could have led to some issues with table space. Something to remember if you like fajitas. Would recommend to others.

The food is always amazing. They always make me feel like family. Donna is an excellent waiter, always kept my drink full. Service was prompt and efficient. The ambience of the restaurant off of South Belt in St Joseph MO and the friendly atmosphere makes it my go to happy place. Love it!!

Decent chow served quick and affordably.
Really liked the guacamole and salsa.
