As a Quebecer with barely any access to Mexican fast food (only 1 Taco Bell in the whole province) I’ve got to say—I would love to see this kind of place blow up here! Both times I went during my short stay were fantastic: the food was flavourful, the price was right, and the employees were super courteous.

First of all, don’t go here customer service at this place was the worst I’ve ever seen in my entire 60 years of living. On Friday 10/3/2025, My handicapped husband went inside to order us some food and was not acknowledged for over 15 minutes while the crew was walking around, laughing and drinking their sodas and talking on their phones and completely ignoring him. When he finally got someone’s attention, he was bothered by it and didn’t say can I help you go to hell nothing like that didn’t say a word. . He was the only one dressed in some kind of Management attire and he had Band-Aids all up and down his neck, and my husband asked him what happened to your neck?
And he replied, that’s none of your business and my husband said excuse me it is my business you’re handling food., and the guy replied, don’t worry about it. It’s none of your business. So my husband comes back out to the car and I said where’s our food and he told me what happened, I went back inside with my phone and once again stood there for over 15 minutes not being acknowledged. No one said hi. Nobody said we’ll be right with you. Nothing and the place was a complete disaster. It smelled really bad in there and everybody in there behind the counter was laughing and playing their games on their phones Not a care in the world.
And a sweet little old man was standing there he introduced himself to me as Sam, and I asked him do you know who that guy‘s name is the one with the Band-Aid on his neck and he told me Angel. And I said thank you so much as I was trying to get Angel’s attention he kept passing me by while I took a picture of him So I can show his boss that this is the guy that is so rude to people and to be as rude as he was to my handicapped husband is over the line, so right before he went back behind the counter, I stopped him and asked him. Why were you so rude to my husband, and he said and replied because your husband asking me questions that is not his concern and nor none of his business and I go, are you talking about why he asked you about the Band-Aids that are on your neck? He replied, yes, and it is none of your business either.
It’s because of people like that that give restaurants a bad name he thinks he’s all that, his little cocky attitude should not be in the restaurant business industry, actually anything to do with dealing with people he should be far away from. We have lived here in Orange County for over 50 years and have been through some really hard times and some good times and to be disrespected like that from him to a handicap man he should be reprimanded. He should be sent to some kind of school to teach him how to treat people Instead of trying to be something he’s not.
We will never go there again and I will tell all of my friends the same stay away from that dirty filthy place with bad attitudes

Horrible terrorific experience
I am going to sue del taco for discrimination. On Sunday 8 pm Nov 16 2025 Went to order there online but instead my gf ordered for me , I got there 15 mins before my gf could order because she was at work. I advised Del taco that I’d wait 15 min and asked for cup of water which they gave me. I was wearing a beany hood covering head and neck but full face open I am homeless for 1 week so I had 2 backpacks

. I sat on a corner and they were spying on me from outside window. I asked why soda machines were disabled to get water and they admitted they disabled them. I told them I was not gonna steal soda and that it was rude .By that time my gf placed an order which disappeared. They told me if I didn’t shut up I had to leave store or they’d call cops and I said I had rights and to stop being prejudiced towards me with a loud voice because I was angry ,hungry and scared. I told em I’d sue them if I didn’t get my order and they dialed cops which I beat them to it and talked to cops outside and after order had disappeared , suddenly my order appears like magic. Oh my God I almost had a heart attack.
I was showing customers there my order so I wouldn’t look crazy .
Finally thanks to superman the cop and his allys I got my order and sat in Petco looking at del taco with tears in my eyes. I didn’t deserve to get treated like a criminal
If I get any threats from any involved I will put u in jail and file criminal charges also .
See u in court I’m suing for $25000
Or we can settle out of court way cheaper, hello corporate!!!!!!!!

The restaurant at 1720 superior is bad.
I wanted to upgrade my order to a large.
The cashier argued with me about ordering another combo # 14. Their kiosks are confusing . I understand that drive thru are important but to wait 10 minutes help is not smart. You had 4 people in that kitchen. It’s not the 1st time it’s happened. At this point we’re not going to the restaurant.

If you’re not in your car going through the drive-thru they don’t give a rip about you. They don’t even greet you when you walk in the door. They expect you to use the kiosk. If you have trouble understanding how the kiosk Works they don’t care. Pay them $20 an hour but they can’t be bothered to wait on customers. And the Fry’s always tastes like they’ve been in the freezer too long

Living in California, I’m required to request condiments, so when I request condiments and don’t receive any, you’re automatically getting a 1 rating! I requested 20 condiment packets and received zero, but the 3 different condiments were crossed off as if they had been put in the bag by M.T.(photo attached).
Food: (burger was surprisingly good, fries were hot, fresh and crispy despite no ketchup! Grilled Chicken Burrito was great as always, but would have been better with the requested hot sauce!)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve had in a long while. Rude cashier on Friday night at 9:45:pm treated me like trash. Called the store to check if dining room was still open and I was told they were closed inside which was a blatant lie. Only to be treated like a child- telling me to step aside and wait so he can help the customers that arrived after me. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life…. who do you have working for you Del Taco.

Really impressed. I came here with low expectations after reading past reviews of missing orders and “cold food”. Well in my experience with this Del taco I got above and beyond.
Food was great! Please try the Birria Ramen. Not spicey at all its perfect.
Nothing was cold at all.
The customer service from the young man at the register was impeccable. Got my order correct and was very clear on what some of the menu items had. He made my day. Would come back again.

Ordered around 11 PM before there was cars in the drive-through 2 to 3 minutes past three cars pulled in and they serve their food before I even got mine. Two minutes, have passed since the cars have left I’m writing this as I’m waiting for my food and still haven’t gotten it. Very unacceptable when I placed the order before if you guys can give the food out so fast and drive-thru you’re able to give it out in store as fast as in drivethru
