Went to the restaurant this past Sunday. Server acted like they did not care and anything we needed/ordered was an inconvenience for her. Ordered appetizer for table and the chicken tender was raw. 20 minutes later told the server when she came aback and she rolled her eyes and took it back. She came back 15 minutes later asked if we wanted anything else. The appetizer was never taken off our bill nor did a manager come to the table. This completely made me furious cause we were given raw chicken… When paying the bill the server was irritated with another table that had issues with their food and was bitching to me about it and saying how she doesn’t want to work there. I’ve worked in the service industry for over 10 years now, I never leave a bad review but this bottom line was a terrible experience all around.

In the 7 years that this restaurant has been open I’ve only been to this location twice. Once last year and more recently a few weeks ago. Both times the service was unsatisfactory and the food was bland or overdone with wait times upwards of 20 minutes. My most recent visit the restaurant appeared to be understaffed which typically seems to be the case. After waiting a while to receive our food which somehow was bland and too salty at the same time. Our waiter “Bonesy/Bones” barely checked up on us and forgot some small add on’s for our order accompanied by serving our food with plastic utensils…. The only good thing I can about this restaurant is how delicious the pancakes are.

This store needs to be shut down. Let me give you only six of the reasons. First on try calling them on the phone number there website tells you. (No body picks up). Second when do go in the (employee) that greats you says what do you want. Third the food wasn’t edible. Fourth the price of Pancakes on the menu said one price and when the bill got to me it was doubled. Five charges on a class of water. And the kicker of it all the employee that took my order (asked me) if I wanted to tip. When im done this review im calling the Baltimore Better business. Please don’t eat here.

After a long day at Maryland Deathfest, we needed food and decided to try this IHOP. It took a very long time to be served, despite the restaurant being pretty empty, and just as long waiting for our check when we were done, BUT, the food was delicious and really hit the spot! Check out the pic of those blueberry pancakes! And to be fair, those that did serve us were pleasant and the food was prepared fresh and hot. This location was clean and is easy to walk to while visiting Inner Harbor.

Food was delicious, server was super sweet, bathrooms were clean. Unfortunately, I got the strawberry banana french toast (which was delicious,) and it gave me food poisoning. I was in town for a concert at the Soundstage, and threw up twice on the four hour drive home, slept for three hours thinking it was over and I could still go to work, and then had to call out because I still have diarrhea and feel nauseous. Do NOT get anything with fruit here. My friends got eggs, pancakes, and hashbrowns, and they’re both fine, so something had to be wrong with either the french toast bread, the whipped cream, or the fruit.

I was sat immediately the place was empty . I see why. Dirty items used to serve. The menu was dirty and the container used to serve DRINKS was filthy. I asked for hot water and the waitress took the exact dirty pitcher to put my hot water in. I walked out.

I was at the restaurant today with my family and I heard the manager screaming at a young lady who was bawling her eyes out. She was very sweet and helpful i have had her as a server before, Ive never had a problem with her or anyone else at this location. Someone at one of her tables was complaining about their food taking too long and the manager Jay completely lost it . I do not know who talks to anyone that way. There were customers in the restaurant we could hear him in the back yelling from our table. Since when do servers control the time it takes for food to come out ? I tried to pull her to the side to tell her she was doing a great job but she was crying and hyperventilating and just left. Her spirit looks broken. The staff seems to be completely different since my last visit. If the manager is speaking to these young woman this way I understand why they are leaving. I can no longer support this restaurant after seeing this. Ihop you need better management ‼️‼️‼️

Here I am writing another review right in the midst of my experience because I’m that disgusted. I don’t even know where to begin. I should’ve took the FILTHY revolving door as a sign. We were seated very quickly- that probably was the ONLY plus during the whole experience- to a dirty, sticky table. Our waitress, Jasmine, quickly moved us to another table while her manager verbally and non-verbally inquired why, saying that our sticky table was already clean. YIKES. (BTW, Manager, SIS: you need to go to an office or back closet because you CANNOT show your emotions and frustrations in front of your dining room. It was clear in the air that you had an attitude. But tough luck- YOU SIGNED UP TO WORK HERE).
It took forever to get silverware for coffee. It took forever to get silverware for food. The pancakes… let’s just say my butter only melted when I used the warmed syrup which, was being poured out of a super sticky, BROKEN, container.
DONT GET ME STARTED ON MY EGGS.
I don’t know who’s the chef, but he or she clearly was having a bad day.
My eggs were damn near raw. Mind you I asked for scrambled cheese eggs.
Another plus: they have American cheese.
Throw the whole restaurant away. Fire the staff. Front to Back. Top to bottom.
I feel a pitty for those who visit down the harbor and have to endure this place. Go somewhere else. Miss Shirley’s is gross but it’s a BIG STEP UP from here. Just. Do yourselves a favor, take heed to this review, and run away. FAST.
