The exterior and interior are maintained nicely. The Japanese atmosphere is well done. Seated quickly, drinks served promptly. The chef was very entertaining in his preparation and the food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable considering the atmosphere and entertainment. I highly recommend.

Our waitress was good. No complaints on that end. The food wasn’t worth eating and wish I hadn’t paid what I did for it. My date hardly touched hers either. They keep it fairly cool in there as well. When it’s below 30 outside you prefer to eat nose and cozy.. I’m guess they do that on purpose to clear seats faster… Will never go back

Tonight my daughter and I went to eat at Zen Hibachi on Watson for a small mommy-daughter date. It had been a really heavy day for me emotionally, and I just needed a little light.
When I went to pay to the front to pay, I was told that a woman named Mrs. Patricia had already taken care of our bill. I didn’t get the chance to thank her in person.

Restaurant was nice. Waitress was nice. The food was 100000% old. Sour yum yum sauce. Tasted more like vinegar than anything. Bill was $50. Paid and just left. Never will return. This was the worst hibachi experience I’ve had. The rice was no good. The steak and chicken tasted old. The sauce was unlike nothing I’ve ever tasted. Never been so happy to go to McDonald’s.. I woulda complained and asked for my money back. Didn’t touch the food. Took it to go and fed it to my dogs. Just not the one to complain or ever leave reviews. But this one just had to happen.

The food lacked flavor and tasted like it was on the verge of being old. The presentation of the meal was actually very clever and the portions were generous. The prices were on the high end considering the lack of depth and flavor of the food.
Jimmy helped us with our dining experience and he was phenomenal and engaging.

My family and I have been several times and while good wasnt the best. Husband and myself went this past weekend ..got private table and had more attentative, friendly service. We didn’t feel rushed like you sometimes feel at the table where they cook infront of you. Our food portions were much bigger eating at a private table. The pieces of steak were good and very tender..the scallops were large and really good also! We love the house salad dressing, which our server informed us we can purchase in large quantity – which we def did! Our alcoholic beverages were a little weak. Other than that very impressed this time around and hope to continue with same experience!

20/20 for me!!!!! It was my Birthday and Zen showed up and showed out for me!!! From the hostesses to the Hibachi Chef!!! What an amazing experience and time! There were 14 of us everyone had a blast! Not to mention how tasty the food was! Even my Vegan friends had lots of options to choose from!

truely the lady working here was disrespectful, and showed signs of racism truely. her attitude actually disgusted me and disappointed me. she proceeded to tell me “am i sure i want to order something expensive bc its gonna be extra and she doesnt think i can afford it” truely disrespectful. her mouth was very disrespectful and kept trying to feel like she could downgrade and make my aunt feel not respected for what she wanted.
