Wow, I am so glad we stopped in here this Sunday! The drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was so nice and chill. Also the snacks they are also amazing. Probably the best cheese I’ve had since being in WI. Very cool building and place to have a few drinks and relax. There was some live music playing which was pretty awesome. We will definitely be back again when in Duluth!

Super accommodating to a big group walking in. We showed up with a large party without a reservation and the staff didn’t miss a beat—they quickly pulled tables together, made sure everyone had a seat, and checked on us often. Cocktails were creative and well-balanced, and the food/snacks were a perfect match. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and fun, with great views and plenty of space to hang out and talk. Would definitely come back and recommend it for groups or a casual night out.

Amazing. Definitely a little pricey (~$15 a cocktail), but super well crafted and unique ones. We’ll be back the next time we visit!

Small but awesome space. There weren’t any other kids and it was definitely an adult environment, but they were very friendly towards ours! We went at 4pm, so it was well before impacting adult only time. My husband enjoyed his drink and the ice cube presentation was impressive. I got the boozy vegan egg nog and it was good but VERY boozy. The food options are minimal- just bar snacks and they were out of a few things. The Lefse chips came out in their original packaging which was fine but also a little odd- best chip I have ever had though!

My wife and I were exploring Duluth and found this Gem! I got a flight, and my wife got a cocktail! Here is how it went…
The flight…
The Ovrevann Aquavit- Which was smooth and very aromatic
The Voyageur Aquavit- Tasted very much like your normal spiced whiskey with a different kick
Hay and Sunshine- Warm and smooth, I really enjoyed it!
Temperance River Rye Whiskey- Smooth with a nice spice, hard to describe taste, bitter but in a good way!
My wife got the “Airplane Mode” – a very tasty, spicy banana, vanilla, sweet cocktail that went over very well!
I also wanted to shout out the service, friendly, easy to talk to staff, and the place just felt clean, light, and cozy!

Fantastic distillery with a wide array of options and a fun atmosphere. Lots of great cocktails to choose from, as well as many flexible options for tasting flights – even give you some lime and tonic and soda water in case you want to turn your gin tasters into G & Ts! Fun to try their assortment of gins and aquavits, especially enjoyed their three herbal liquors – smoother takes on Campari, Chartreuse, and Aperol.
Update – after only doing a liquor flight during our first visit, had to go back and try some cocktails! Very unique and well-crafted, especially the root beer foam in the Tragedy of Prohibition and the fusion of pineapple, coffee, hazelnut, and lime in the Tropical Goth. Fantastic notes of raspberry in the Last Word as well! Also went for the Frenchie flight – especially liked the blackberry in the Briar and the house apertivo in the Velo.
Update – back in Duluth a year later, had to return to our favorite distillery! Tried their espresso martinis – one with vodka and one with aquavit – both excellent, preferred the classic vodka, but aquavit adds a unique herbal aspect. Definitely a fun summer menu this time, ‘Tour of Italy’ Tiny Tini Trio was a unique and fun try despite us not loving the Caesar and Pizza ones, Tiramisu was outstanding, though! Unfrozen Strawberry Daiquiri and Tokyo Vending Machine were both awesome, especially the ube foam on the daiquiri and coconut milk in the Tokyo. Herbal liquor flight is as good as ever! Always friendly service.

My family loves to visit Vikre every time we are in Duluth! We love the large drink menu using our favorite base spirits! We always get the snack box too – Perfect pairing! Vikre is our favorite gin and our “house gin” at our home bar.

Loved the venue for sure, with seating arrangements pulled together perfectly to accommodate your group or pair. Drink menu was full of unique drinks, I had a ‘A Pear to Declare’. However, my husband enjoyed an old fashioned and said it was the best he had ever had! A great compliment coming from him. If you enjoyed your drinks enough, you are lucky to get to purchase the spirits on your way out the door…don’t forget!
