Reviews
In addition to the poor food quality, the customer service at the drive-thru was very rude. When I politely asked for a straw and silverware, I was told it was already in the bag, but it was not. Even after asking again, I still wasn’t given the items I needed.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and I expect better quality and service.
My pictures speak for themselves. My plate has nothing but leftovers pretty much, there is NO (noodles) chow mein, only cabbage! And also I ordered broccoli beef and there’s NO beef only served me broccoli!
Also on my husbands plate there was a clear piece of plastic he almost swallowed that was between his food.
I took the time to write this review, I attempted to contact their location and not once did they pickup the phone. I will be also reporting them to get a food inspection.
I wanted to chow mein but the was none out. The employee explained to me that there was some that would come up in a few min. I was in a hurry (to sit and eat) so I had to decline. But I loved how they explained to me what was going on and apologized. Additionally, the rest of the food was well stocked and fresh on the line. I also witnessed numerous employees cleaning up not only the front of the restaurant but also where the line was and by the cooks. A+ to this team today!
First things first, their Orange Chicken is the stuff of legends. It’s like the fast food version of Peking duck – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and glazed with that tangy-sweet orange sauce. Man, it’s the perfect comfort food after a long day.
Panda’s Beijing Beef and Kung Pao Chicken deserve some love, too. The beef has a tangy and sweet vibe going on, and the chicken? Spicy, nutty, and just right. The veggies in the Kung Pao give it a bit of a health halo, so you can convince yourself it’s not all that bad.
You can’t forget about the sides either. Chow Mein or Fried Rice? It’s like asking to pick between my favorite songs – can’t do it. Both are great in their own right. Chow mein has a nice bit of crunch and chew to it, while the fried rice is savory and perfectly seasoned.
However, it’s not all rainbows and unicorns at Panda Express. The place can get busy, and sometimes you can feel the rush in the food. Soggy noodles, undercooked rice, or lukewarm entrees can be a letdown when they occur. This location has a tendency to run out of items during the lunch rush or within a couple hours of closing time. Also, if you’re expecting authentic Chinese cuisine, well, you’re barking up the wrong bamboo tree. This is as American as it gets.
In terms of service, the staff is usually friendly and they keep the line moving, even when it’s out the door. The interior is usually clean and bright, although nothing fancy. This location doesn’t have a ton of seating available, so you may prefer to take your food to go.
In the end, Panda Express is like that favorite sweater you’ve had for years. It’s not high fashion, and it might not be perfect, but it’s comfortable, reliable, and sometimes it just feels right. When you want something tasty, quick, and budget-friendly, Panda Express hits the spot. I give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
They lock the store right at 9pm before they even close?! I placed an online offer to be quick in and out not to wait in a longer LINE and wait on the drive thru.
