We had dinner in the restaurant section (beautifully decorated and appealing atmosphere) which is on the ground floor. Hubby had the Smash Burger (loved it) and I had the hummus dip with crudite. The hummus dip was nicely prepared but a pinch of salt and/or extra lemon would’ve made it perfect however the tables were not equipped with salt & pepper shakers. When there’s no salt and pepper I assume someone will be offended if you ask so I didn’t. The crudite was in a cup that fell over on the serving tray and the server picked it up, touching the food with his gloved hand which seemed appropriate but I also saw a different server using his gloved hand to pick up a napkin off the floor so I couldn’t be sure it was okay. The crudite was simply carrots and celery which appeared pretty dried out anyway so no loss there. I am gluten free so no pita for me but I had prepared by bringing a few gf crackers, etc. A friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich and loved it. It was a real chicken breast and was a very large portion. Another friend also had a smash burger and wanted some mayo but was told none was available since the burger had a special sauce but overall he enjoyed it. Hubby’s sprite was nice and fizzy. I wanted to try some wine so I had a glass of the Sweet Philly Red. It was delicious and not overly sweet. I will say it also seems to be a pretty clean wine because I am very sensitive to additives and chemicals and I had no reaction. If I had noticed a bottle of it on the shelf I would have definitely purchased one to go. The staff were very pleasant and very accommodating and Lisa our waitress was more than excellent. We enjoyed a concert downstairs (El Debarge) afterwards and though the seating is tight and tables are small we were comfortable enough and still had a great time. So if you’re attending a concert and need to meet your $25 or two item quota, for a more comfortable and relaxing experience, I would definitely recommend to make a reservation to eat in the restaurant section a couple hours before your show and carry your receipt with you downstairs. Overall I had a good time, however, I do wish there were more options that were both gluten free AND vegan like maybe have a gluten free version of the mushroom risotto balls with a vegan feta. How about a chickpea curry or a 3 bean chili over rice. Both would be easy to prepare and economical as well. I have ideas for days. There were some side dishes on the restaurant menu that weren’t on the online menu so keep that in mind. But, it can be difficult and/or boring for us gluten free vegan eaters to have a real entrée. We’re not all salad eaters (we can have salad at home) and we get tired of eating side dishes (i.e. broccoli and rice). But I am grateful there was something on the menu for me to eat and enjoy the company of my friends and would definitely return. I’m looking forward to trying some other wines as well.

Amazing experience! We went to the Golden Girls Drag Brunch for a Bachelorette party and it was great! We had about 18 people ranging from 19 – 69 yrs old and everyone had a great time. Customer Service was extremely helpful with booking the large group, the staff got us checked in with ease, the wait staff was friendly and efficient. The show was AMAZING!!!! We are already planning to go again for upcoming shows. I have nothing bad to say.

Came in for an afternoon show and while that was fantastic and the food ordered was good too the service was a little slow. The server did his best to accommodate the overwhelming people that were given to his section. While some may say he was a bit rude, I’m sure it was due to having too many people to attend to. This definitely led to orders taking forever to get to the tables and with the people bringing the food to the tables to be confused and unorganized. The food itself was pretty good and delicious. Went with a truffle mushroom burger which was cooked perfectly and had enough of the filling where every bite had some of it. Paired the meal with a selection of their beers (sadly I didn’t try their wine) and they were all nice and crisp. Overall a great experience for to see an event at but could do with an upgrade on how to get food out.

We went to see a show last night in “The Loft.” Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the performance.
It took a while for our server to come over initially. She seemed pleasant and took our order for two coffees and two different desserts. The coffees arrived first, but about 15 minutes passed before the first dessert came out. By then, our coffee was already finished — it would have been nice to enjoy them together.
After that, we couldn’t find our server to ask for refills. Over an hour into the show, both of our cups were empty and we were still missing one dessert. When the server finally came back, she apologized. I ended up asking for two coffees on the house, which she provided, but it was frustrating that we had to track her down instead of having someone check on our table.
We noticed other servers and food runners moving around regularly, so we’re not sure what happened in our case. Poor service tends to stick with people more than good service does.
We enjoy the shows at The Loft and will likely return for performances, but we’ll probably plan to eat and have dessert elsewhere beforehand to avoid another disappointing service experience.

I will not go to another concert here, nor at other City Winery locations. The concert tickets were quite affordable so I guess you get what you pay for but the environment and business model is down-scale.
The tables set up for 4 adults are small and located too close together. Four people cannot sit comfortably. For comparison, it’s the same size as my niece/nephew’s Paw Patrol table which comes with just 2 chairs. City Winery’s table is higher but the surface area is about the same— for FOUR adults. The chairs have red, removable upholstered pads which are overdue for the laundry. They are nasty. And tacky is the requirement that you give the waiter a credit card when you order before the food is served, not afterward as in every other restaurant.
The service was adequate and the burger and salad I ordered were well prepared and delicious but I won’t return. I’d rather pay more for a ticket and be in a nice, comfortable environment.
Finally, way-finding signage is misleading. Following the signage in the mall that leads to a City Winery door that then directs you out of the mall, onto the street to the “entrance.”

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Stopped in for a drink and appetizers. The sauvignon blanc was great. Ordered a flat bread and the dip platter. The flat bread was great…pepperoni and sausage with hot honey. The dip platter never came out, so no opinion on that. I think a runner brought it out to the wrong table. Not blaming the server…bartender was super friendly and answered all of our questions about food drinks, etc. I will go back

I love it here. I’ve been here for Brunch So Funny a couple of times. The food is delicious, the service is good, and the atmosphere is a whole vibe!!! It’s pricey. $17 fries is wild to me. It is a big portion and they’re delicious. Easily spend $160 here for two if y’all are drinking.
Parking is a pain but you can usually find a lot or garage nearby. I’m a street parker myself and usually requires driving around for a street spot.
Great location in the Fashion District next to Chinatown.

We got to our table well over and hour before the show started. The portions of the food we ordered were a little on the smaller side. We ordered wings (5 or 6), a flatbread, short rib, a salad, and the truffle fries. They were just enough to fill you up without over eating.
The servers were nice and quick. My parents enjoyed the wine flights. They offer a lot of different shows/events for different crowds. I would definitely come back.

Nice place for Happy Hour and show. Lisa took very good care of our table and had great suggestions since this was our first time dining and trying the wines at City Winery. The show was awesome. Great acoustics.

Food was very tasty! I highly recommend the CW burger! So good! Fyi – the Greek salad wasn’t really a salad, in the way that i think of a salad. It had all the usual ingredients except for any kind of lettuce. The charred eggplant dip was a definite hit with us. So good w the warm pita pieces! The red wines on tap were very tasty too! We enjoyed our time there! Lisa was great! We will definitely be back!
