Dear Zaxby’s,
I am following up regarding a very concerning experience at your Seffner, Florida location (11709 E. MLK Blvd).
Earlier today while going through the drive-thru, an employee handed me a Dr Pepper with the lid not secured, which caused the drink to spill all over me inside my car. My clothes were soaked and sticky, and my brand new $100 bracelet was covered in soda.
The manager on duty (a white female with dark hair who I believe may be named Jessica) came to the window and gave what felt like a very condescending apology and immediately stated they would not be responsible for my bracelet or cleaning my clothes.
When I asked who owned the store so I could follow up with them directly, she refused to provide the owner’s name, took my information, and when I asked when I should expect a call back she said “I don’t know” and then closed the drive-thru window.
After leaving, I called the store to try to resolve the issue. During that call, the same manager accused me of taking photos of minors, which is completely untrue. I only took a photo of the drive-thru window after it was closed so I could capture the store information. She then hung up the phone on me.
I am extremely disappointed by how this situation has been handled. I am a regular customer at this location, and I expected the situation to be addressed with professionalism and respect.
I would appreciate someone from ownership or corporate management contacting me regarding this incident as soon as possible.

This is a Zaxby’s location in Seffner, FL on MLK Boulevard. The decor of the location is updated, and was in a dimly lit atmosphere. The service was slow, but were pretty nice.
The food at this place is okay. I got the Chicken Sandwich, and my other party member got a Nibbler, which was a mini version of my sandwich. The sandwich was alright, and had a high temperature. Wasn’t satisfactory. Overall, not the best chicken place around.

Incredible flavor for the money! They have BOTH grilled and fried chicken (AND SOOOOOO DELICIOUS) you get a lot of food with the order and they have crinkle cut french fries and there’s nothing better than fresh crinkle cut french fries! I was there today and the manager Jessica was very on things. She checked on me and other guests, while she handled a few things and kept a smile on her face the whole time. This location always makes me feel very special and they always get the order right!

This location Has to be the worst zaxbys I’ve ever been to. The employees and management are awful. I’ve been a server in a restaurant for over 20 years and you just don’t have customer service like this. The girl was rude through the drive-through and the manager wasn’t any better. They forgot all of my sauces, including ketchup, ranch for our fried pickles, and to top it off caramel for my sons. funnel cake. The funnel cake looks awful. It’s hard and crispy. He tried to act like he was doing something nice by giving me an extra one because the girl I guess was rude but the reason they gave me an extra one is because the first one is hard as a rock. Don’t even look like a funnel cake has no powdered sugar on it and neither one of the funnel cakes has Carmel. This location definitely needs better employees and better quality of food. The cost of food here you definitely don’t wanna go there and get bad quality food and have to deal with rude employees. I won’t return ever to this Zaxby’s. I’ll go out of my way to go to a better location. I don’t know how you keep customers at this location

I was craving that delicious grilled chicken salad from Hungry Harry’s down the street, but they’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays unfortunately. And I know Zaxby’s has salads, and Zaxby’s is a decent chain in the context of what it is, so I HOPED that maybe this would get the job done. The inside is nicely decorated, reminds one of a nice modern Sonny’s BBQ, I like the decor. I waited a couple minutes to be helped by Mandy, but no worries, they were a little busy in the drive-thru, and Mandy was nice. But when you pay over $14 for a salad and iced tea, you expect the quality to be a bit better. This Asian “Zensation” salad is a romaine, crunchy noodles, cabbage type salad with teriyaki and a citrus vinaigrette. They even through in a egg roll for good measure. The egg roll tastes good, but it was too crunchy / overcooked. And the salad was ‘swimming’ in teriyaki, instead of drizzled over it as a nice, little accent. There was no citrus vinaigrette with it. A nice young man handed me my dine-in order and asked if I wanted dressing. I told him I thought it came with a citrus vinaigrette, and he said he thought it was on there. They called to the back, and the kitchen guy said he put it in the to-go container. But there was no souffle cup with dressing as the picture on the display showed. So they ended up giving me 2 packets. I only used half of one since it was already drowning in teriyaki (photo attached). The quality of the food tasted good. And the potion of salad, chicken, and tea was great for the money. But I could not have snuck over to my table as my sneakers stuck to the floor each step I took across the wood-look tile floors. When I saw that same young man out in the dining area wiping down tables (a good sign), I told him about the sticky floors. He seemed surprised (though he just walked across them himself), though he was kind and agreeable in his response and said he’d take care of it. There seemed to be at least 6 employees there, maybe more, so I’d hope in the future they’d be a bit more on top of some of these things, especially on a non-holiday Monday. I may come back again, but I’ll have much higher expectations. Good luck to you guys.

I asked for grilled chicken got fried then asked for Zaby’s sauce got none tried calling the store no one can answer cause it says mail box of full. Zaxbys has pretty good chicken sandwiches. However, I have noticed a decline in service since it opened. The staff seem more concern with their conversations than actually helping customers. My cashier seemed to use her recent hire status as an excuse for everything even though her demeanor she is she was unenthusiastic about being there. The sandwich was still good, but took nearly ten minutes to come out. The freestyle coke machine was out of every flavor (vanilla, cherry, etc.) except the traditional flavors (coke, sort coke, etc.) They were out of so many flavors that I went to the manager to ask if they, in an effort to cut costs, had decided to not give customers freestyle choices anymore. Nope they still have it but no one in that restaurant cared to fix it. So, borderline ok service ultimately.

Food was Great…but experience was horrible the manager Jess just gave me hard time over the app erroring and not having the code in the drive thru line…she said you cant wait here 3mins for it to pop back in the app so I said ok Ill pay and get the 5 free fingers after. she said ok and i waited about 10mins and then app was ready with promo so i went inside and first employee didn’t know how to do anything. I said here’s the scan and she said you have to pay for another item. after buying $50 of food for the family. which is a daily meal usually publix tenders or winn dixie bucket deals. we love our chicken. wish the owners had a hands on the place seemed to be run bad the 3 times weve gone there since opened always horrible this time had to leave a review. Jessica the manager wouldn’t even give me any # or email to contact to see if I can get some help. she did offer a cookie with a smirk and said want a cookie? but her attitude was so bad and as she said she was so confused over this she went to the back and had me wait 5more mins just to ask another employee and she yelled from the back I got it. due to over 30mins now there I just left…good food bad service…cant wait till robots take over her job.
