Honestly we were headed to olive garden, we searched for a south i dian spot on time and this popped up. We headed here, the restaurant wasn’t very busy but again it was Monday. But when we ordered and the food arrived, it honestly was really really good. Not everyone can make good south indian food but they definitely nailed it. Dosa, idli, sambhar, chutneys all were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I am not a coconut fan but their coconut chutney, I cam eat it by itself. Honestly, it’s worth a try I will definitely come back

We went to Aachys Chettinad for their Sunday buffet and overall, it was good, though it didn’t quite meet my expectations. However, the staff service was exceptional! The only drawback was that the seating felt a bit tight. Overall, a solid experience!

Its food is great as well as service. We ordered Masala Dosa and Beef Vindaloo. It was satisfying. Vindaloo is not as spicy as what Ive tried in other restaurants that I tried. The spice level is just right. The prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. Despite construction in the neighborhood, there are parking in front of the resto. I highly recommend to try if you feel like having South Indian food.

My all time favourite place in West Edmonton! Friends & I always go there to enjoy delicious South Indian food. I recently went there and had Palak Paneer Dosa and Masala Tea and it hit the spot! Jasleen was also great and actually offered me hot sambhar after noticing mine might have gone cold due to a phone call. Amazing food & service as always:)

We had butter chicken and beef vindaloo with sides of rice and garlic naan bread. I want sure how spicy the vindaloo was so I asked if the chef could spice it down a bit. I was warned that as a result, it would taste slightly different. Regardless, it tasted great and on a scale of 1-10, it was a 4. They said the normal heat would be a 6 (so you can compare, I do wings with Frank’s hot sauce if that helps you judge my heat tolerance). They do a buffet during the day (better to check), I will do that next time so I can experiment with more of their food offerings. Service was great.

One of the Best Indian Restaurants in Edmonton

This restaurant is truly one of the best Indian dining spots in Edmonton. The food is incredibly tasty, prepared with authentic spices and top-quality ingredients. Every dish is rich in flavor and served in generous portions at very affordable prices.

The staff are extremely polite, well-behaved, and attentive—they genuinely care about each customer and provide excellent service throughout the meal.

One of the highlights is their Sunday buffet lunch, which offers a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. It’s a great opportunity to try multiple items and experience the full range of their delicious menu.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Indian food, warm hospitality, and great value!

Love this place!! We have been customers for a very long time. Ordered the chicken biriyani for our company’s potluck and it was a big hit! Would definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic south Indian food and their crunch and delicious dosas!

This is one of the best places to enjoy authentic Idli and Medu Vada. The Vadas were light, crispy, and served hot — we simply couldn’t get enough! We also tried the Gobi and Paneer Manchurian, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. The Masala Dosa, mini Uttapam, Set Dosa, and filter coffee were all outstanding — a perfect 10/10. A must-visit spot if you’re craving South Indian food!

This place was D E L I C I O U S! So good and the staff friendly. We looked at the menu and it wasn’t your average menu so at first I was a little scared to order because they didn’t have my regular go to dish. I’m so thankful they didn’t because it pushed me out of my comfort zone and it paid off! I had two dishes I don’t normally eat and loved them. I also have never had coconut rice with my dishes and that was so flavourful. This is definitely one of my new favourite restaurants. I absolutely love the garlic naan, it had a crisp to it that I’ve never had before and now don’t want to be without.

Visited Aachys on a Saturday afternoon with friends and had a mixed but overall positive experience. I tried the Tandoori Chicken Dosa, which was well-prepared with excellent quality ingredients, but the flavor combination just didn’t work for me personally. However, my friends’ orders – the thali, Parotta, and Chicken Vindaloo – were absolutely exceptional and really showcased what this place can do.
The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to prepare virgin mojitos for us, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon, but honestly, that made for a pleasant, relaxed dining experience.
Would definitely recommend sticking to their traditional dishes – they clearly know what they’re doing with authentic South Indian cuisine. Will be back to try more from their menu!
