Hidden prohibition era gem in the heart of bucktown. There’s a bar and two tops in the front with larger tables in the back. Really enjoyed both the food and the ambiance.
Menu is fairly extensive and hits a wide range of Italian dishes. Everything we got was delicious and came out very quickly.
Service was to notch too. Our table got lost in the shuffle and the person who took up serving us made sure we were well taken care of and even comp’d is a dessert.

What a great find! Veal parm was wonderful. Good portion size. Coffee was perfect. Desert was great. Professional staff was excellent. I am going back. You should go too.

A true classic Italian restaurant. The Rigatoni with Veal Meatballs was my absolute favorite. The sauce was so rich and flavorful and you could really taste the tomatoes. It had that true homemade feel. The baked clams were another standout, cheesy and breadcrumb-y with the perfect golden top. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, hearty, and comforting which is exactly what you want from a cozy Italian spot with checkered tablecloth vibes. Beautiful view and ambiance both inside and outside! Service was also served with a smile, and our server was so friendly and patience! Definitely will come back when I’m back in Wicker Park. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow so late (6 months but ok)
This place was amazing. We went here because my friend recommended it to us. It’s safe to say we are not disappointed.
The food was absolutely delicious. Their pasta was delicious and the salad was also really good. I also like the dessert at the end.
The service was good. The employees came in to check on us often and were really kind.
The atmosphere was amazing. There were so many decorations and cool lights.
Overall, I will return here again. It is such a good place!

Old school, classic Italian spot with great food and vibes. They have a great outdoor patio with plenty of seating and good vibes. We started with the fried calamari which was delicious with a great marinara! The chicken parmigiana was delicious and enough to share between four people but wouldn’t be enough with any more than that. The 8 finger cavatelli was DELICIOUS, I recommend ordering it with vodka sauce.

We had a fantastic Saturday night at Club Lucky! Our party of four sat in the coolest booth — an elevated window seat overlooking the bustling, energetic dining room. The atmosphere was lively, and the mid-century décor is absolute perfection, down to every detail. Francesca the hostess was amazing and accommodating.
The espresso martini was delicious with a capital D! We started with the seafood salad, which my son-in-law (a New Englander and seafood connoisseur) says is nearly impossible to find in Chicago — he’s only come across it at two other spots. It did not disappoint — absolutely fresh and delicious!
We also enjoyed the Bolognese, Chicken Vesuvio, veal ravioli, calamari, and a heavenly tiramisu for my birthday surprise! Every dish was spot-on. Club Lucky is the perfect place for a special occasion or a cozy date night. It’s especially sentimental for my husband and me — we dined here as a young couple before getting married, and now, as we approach our 30th anniversary, it’s just as wonderful as ever. Club Lucky never disappoints!

Red-sauce joint tucked right into a residential neighborhood. Old-school supper club vibe. Baked clams by the dozen. Caprese. Stuffed artichoke – all excellent. Veal & Chick parm, seafood linguine, salmon- the sauces! the meats! And… Martinis- expertly poured-divine. Go spend ur $$$ and feel good about it.

I’ve been to Club Lucky twice now, and both times I’ve had a mediocre experience. I’m honestly a bit surprised at all the great reviews this place gets. Our server was inattentive at best and rude at worst. He never came back to check on how our food or drinks tasted. Truly just started us off and left us for the rest of the time. The food was okay. Neither of the pasta dishes our party got were very good, and the $45 special filet mignon was just meh. Even though our actual server never came back, multiple bussers came by our table trying to take plates from us when I literally had a half rack of ribs and half a skillet of mashed potatoes left to eat!!!! There is a notice on the table that parties of 4 or less have 2 hours to dine… our reservation was for 8:15, and they were trying to snatch our plates by 9:15, only about 20 mins after we got our food!! It felt like they wanted us out quickly. I really wanted to like it here as I love Italian food and I live in the neighborhood, but I don’t think I’ll be giving them another try.

Some friends and I visited as part of a prohibition tour. It’s been years since I have been to Club Lucky and I don’t know why I haven’t been back sooner. Even though we were just there for cocktails, service from our bartenders was great and the cocktails were some of the best I’ve had worldwide, nevermind Chicago. These people are professionals and very good at what their craft. We ordered a charcuterie board which was good, and I’ll surely be back for dinner and more cocktails soon.

It was quite delicious! I was with a group of 8 people and it was very loud but that’s all part of the experience.
This food was very good. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was quite delicious but man, the calamari appetizer we had was genuinely incredible. Some of the best calamari I have had. It’s light and fluffy and big! Wonderful.
The service was some of the best. We had a little accident lol (one of our guest members accidentally forgot to take their retainers off a plate that was taken to the back to be washed) and the servers did everything in their power to find the retainer. Seriously, they were so kind. I didn’t catch their names but it was a young woman with blondish hair and an older man with dark gray hair.
Wonderfully designed inside. Gosh, I LOVE the inside and outside of this place!
Even the manager came out and talked to us and he was incredibly kind
10/10 experience would go back
