The green onion pancake and pan fried dumplings are decent but you can probably find better in Rowland or SGV.
Service is quick and they always made sure we had water.
Parking in this plaza is always terrible but that’s expected in Irvine.
We first tried it back in 2021 and left unimpressed, but after hearing so much praise from others, we decided to give it another chance today. Unfortunately, the experience was very similar.
The food is solidly mediocre and lacks any standout flavors or quality. The beef noodle soup and wonton soup were the biggest disappointments—they tasted quite bland, with little depth in the broth and nothing particularly memorable about the ingredients or seasoning. The other dishes we ordered felt equally ordinary, nothing that would make me recommend it over countless other similar spots.
Service was fine, but the food just doesn’t justify the popularity or the prices. We won’t be returning.
I had to order extra noodle lol
We will definitely come back again soon
One problem most of customers were very loudly speaking each other’s
The menus include both photos of the food and a checklist of what to order (mainly in Chinese, but you can match the order number to the checklist).
Note: Weekends can get busy, so you will be asked to leave when you are done dining in.
Overall, a great place if you are craving Taiwanese food like Beef Noodles Soup, Noodles, Green Onion Pancake, and Beef Rolls.
I was there on a Sunday, and we waited about 15-20 mins to get a table. After we got seated, we felt they rushed us to place our order. They checked with us once every 30 seconds. I would say it is great customer service and I totally understand because they have a line.
The prices are reasonable and not overly expensive. The food tastes authentic. I felt the dining area a bit tight, tables are very close together.
