Hands down the best Waffle House experience I’ve had — and that’s saying something because I eat at a lot of Waffle Houses.
I came in solo around 1am and the service was absolutely on point from start to finish. The waitress was friendly, sharp, and on top of everything. But the real showstopper was the grill master. While the waitress was still taking my order and he was already cooking for someone else, he somehow had my entire order started before she even turned around to call it in. I was honestly stunned.
I ordered the All-Star Special, made a few specific requests, and every single item came out perfect. Not “good for Waffle House” perfect — just flat-out perfect. Cooked exactly how I asked, lightning fast, and clearly done by someone who takes real pride in their work.
Speed, accuracy, and top-tier service late at night is rare, and this place absolutely nailed it. Huge props to the grill master and the waitress — they crushed it. If you’re in Daytona Beach and want a Waffle House that’s operating at an elite level, this is the one.

Jeffrey and Litty were amazing the over all experience in this Waffle House tops any I have ever had at Waffle House. If you’re looking for good food great atmosphere and a reasonable price this is the place to be! Would recommend this one to everyone!

We were in Daytona on a recent trip and decided to try waffle house for the first time. The food was ok. The waffle was a bit soft, I think I would have liked it a bit more crispy. We also tried a 2 egg breakfast and a hash brown bowl.

I’ve stopped in here a couple times. It still seems weird to me to have a Waffle House across the street from the beach rather than alongside some Interstate highway exit. There are better places for breakfast along the Avenue, but at Waffle House you know what you’re going to get. On my last visit I only had hash browns (smothered, covered, and chunked) and coffee. It is what it is.

No trip to the south can happen without a stop to Waffle House.
Waffle House still has some of the best “diner” coffee I’ve ever had, as well as the best waffles.

This location in Daytona had friendly staff. I just wish everyone was masked up! Fortunately, our waitress was, she was super nice and wore a mask the entire time. I had seen photos of this location with acrylic barriers between booths, I think it’s still a good idea and had hoped that they were still there, but as of this review, they are no longer there.
Also, the tables closest to the main street were closed off, this means less social distancing. Fortunately, I was able to snag a spot in a corner far away from the rest of the customers and staff who weren’t masked up.
I think the thing I love the most about Waffle House is consistency and vibe. And those darn waffles.
